Buzzer is ridiculously loud

The buzzer loudness is ridiculous. Why would you build a modern appliance with a buzzer that loud that CAN’T BE TURNED OFF. Other features work but GE, I would appreciate a fix now that won’t void my warranty. Notifying your product team to improve future designs does nothing to resolve this air raid horn of a buzzer in my new dryer. Please help.

Broke in 1st week of operation

Clothes dryer stopped working after 4th time using it. A repair person took the dryer completely apart ( he knew exactly where to look ), found that the electrical connection to the heating element had become unattached and stated that this was a common problem with this dryers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer for the money I like the basic settings. I would score it higher except for its obnoxious and a cycle buzzer.
My washer has such a pleasant little tune that it plays and the dryer is just ridiculously loud. GE I think you could do better.!
