The dryer either is the worst dryer I’ve ever owned or there is certainly something wrong with mine. You have to run it 2 times on “More Dry” for the clothes to feel as if they’re are dry. To which at that point, they’re not even fully dry. They feel like they’re almost dry.
This is a terrible dryer. I either need this fixed or I’ll have to get something else

I've owned many washers and dryers in my lifetime. My first GE product. Wish I would have gotten them sooner. It's great! Easy to use and does a great job!
Too much lint passes the machine filter and goes out the vent to outside of house, filled the outside trap in 5 weeks. I empty the lint trap on dryer after every load. The buzzer when load is done is obnoxiously loud. No adjustment options. Knobs are hard to turn. I was told that once it was hooked up to power it would turn easier because of the way electronics works. That wasn’t true. My least favorite dryer that I’ve owned. My only positive is that it drys the clothe. Was pricy, bought for size and warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help out with the excessive lint you are noticing. You can check out the following article for some troubleshooting tips that can help with removing lint. (https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17442). We are going to pass your comments about the controls and buzzer over to our product team to review. That way we can look for improvements that can be added going forward.
Works great and as hoped for. We have only had this dryer for about 4 weeks now and the only thing that we don't like at all is the painfully loud obnoxious buzzer to indicate that it is finished (10 second buzzer) or almost finished (about 5-7 seconds.) If that is the only problem for the long haul, then I can live with that and be satisfied.
The dryer does a good job drying and most times clothes are dry before the buzzer. Main concern is that it doesn't catch lint like our previous dryer. We make sure the lint screen is correctly in place. Only towels create much lint now where all loads had lint in previous lint filter. My husband cleaned the vent to outside and there was quite a bit of lint. Concerned about why.
