Coffee machines sure have improved since I bought my last one. My new house doesn't have a garbage disposal which isn't a big deal until I realized making my French press coffee was a pain without one. Having tried a pour-over I was tired of not getting coffee that was strong enough and stayed warm. This machine does it all.
A real plus? The 2 reservoirs. I love that there are 2 reservoirs one for coffee and one for hot water so my tea tastes like tea without tasting like tea with a splash of coffee.
Love this coffee maker and highly recommend it. Some complained of leaking and I didn't have that problem; there is a plug on the bottom to empty the reservoirs so maybe they haven't checked that it's tight enough or something.

In addition to rating this coffee maker 5 stars I'm rating Cuisinart 5 stars for the warranty they offer. They stand by their products. I received this model as a warranty replacement. My model was discontinued and this was a very nice redesign of the previous model. It brews very quickly and the button panel is a much better design. Great company!

This is the 2nd coffee maker we purchase from Cuisinart. They have made improvements to the water storage and hot water tank that make it easier to use as well as the hot water dispenser. Basic setup is the same.
