Hauntingly Lovely, Though Softer in Person

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it’s very pretty, fun to pose, and has that whimsical Monster High charm. The details are nicely done and the overall design definitely captures the Corpse Bride aesthetic in a playful way.
However, if you are a collector, I feel like some of the colors come across a little flat in person. The promotional images on the box look more detailed and shaded, while the actual doll’s paintwork feels a bit simplified. I still think she’s a lovely addition to the Monster High dolls.
Overall, I’d say she’s a great choice for kids or fans who just want to display something cute and Tim Burton-inspired, but more serious collectors might find themselves wishing for a bit more depth and polish in the final product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolutely beautiful figure! A great edition to any Monster High or Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride collection. The packaging is perfect to display closed, with a simple yet beautiful picture of the Bride or it slides apart down the middle to show the incredibly detailed figure. While this figure I’m sure will remain packaged for most collectors, I have no doubt the figure would display beautifully out of package & of course would be a delight for both kids and kids at heart. If you like Monster High I feel like this figure is a perfect fit into that world!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is beautifully crafted, with so many beautiful little details. The box is exquisite, it is very premium, and it is interesting that it opens by pulling at the sides. When you look at the side of the box you get a full view of the face of the Corpse Bride which is a nice touch. I like that the one leg is translucent and can see the bone, so it still provides structure to the doll. It is a beautiful piece that is a must for any fan of the Corpse Bride.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Corpse Bride Skullector is hands down one of the most beautiful dolls I’ve ever seen! She arrived in perfect condition, and the details are breathtaking — her layered dress, delicate veil, and soft blue hair are just perfection. Emily’s face-up is hauntingly gorgeous, and the colors capture the movie vibe so well. Her sculpt is amazing (the ribs aren’t painted on — they’re part of the mold!) and her accessories are so detailed you almost forget they’re plastic.
Her articulation is great, just like the other Skullectors, and her overall look is pure magic. Honestly, she’s my favorite Skullector by far — I almost didn’t want to take her out of the box because she’s that pretty!
The only small downside is that her hair gets a little tangled in the plastic skirt overlay, but it’s minor compared to how amazing she is.
If you’re a Monster High fan or love Corpse Bride, this doll is a must-have. She’s beautiful, spooky, and totally worth every penny!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is like jumping off the screen. Emily, the Corpse Bride (Monster High Skullector) Doll is a must have for a fan of the movie and a fan of Monster High. The box is beautifully designed on both the front and the back. The two sides slide outward to reveal Emily inside. The attention to detail from the ring on her finger to Scraps the dog at her heel and Maggot peeking out of her right ear, is excellent. Shades of blue are used throughout with accents of black to complete her deathly look. We couldn't wait to take her out of the box to display her, but honestly the box is so artfully designed that we will probably figure out a way to display her with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *Thank you Mattel for sending us this doll to review for free!*
This Emily from Tim Burton's the Corpse Bride movie is amazing!!! She is so detailed and could only be more comple with her missing flowral bouquet. With maggot in ear as her earrings, dule fabric (tulle and fish-net like) wedding dress with plastic vine like black piece attached, butterfly and cob web sculpted head piece with vail and gold wedding ring she is ready for a most special wedding day!
Emily is part "flesh" and part bone with left arm, right lower leg, and part of her right rib cage exposed "to the bone", she holds an amazing resemblence to the films interpretation.
Her long blue hair is shiny, wavey and very soft. Her make-up consist of two tones of purple eye shadow, which are very neat and she is not pixelated. She has painted teeth like details on her left cheek and a mix of raspberry and mauve color on her lips.
Although her story in the movie is a bit sad, she exudes elegance and strappy black sandle like heals with a sculpted rose on the left foot.
All in all she is so very beautiful in my opinion and I hope to see Victor and Victoria done in similar detail and very soon! *hint, hint!*
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is beautiful to add to any collection. She is very well made. It has many details from the movie, from the ring on her finger, Maggot as her earrings, and a little Scraps added to her shoe, but even if you haven't seen the movie, you could enjoy this Emily doll. Her box is a beautiful display, but she does come with a stand in case you want to take her out; she also has a certificate. But it feels like she could be played with, not too delicate.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is an incredibly detailed likeness of Emily from "Corpse Bride". She has a 1st-ever bony body sculpt. Her pets Maggot and Scraps the dog are even incorporated into her fashion. The sliding box makes for an awesome display. Great job Mattel!
