[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a long time fan of the Corpse Bride, so this MONSTER HIGH SKULLETOR doll was something I was so excited to snatch up. It completely exceeded expectations. The details are beautiful, from the expression on her face to the way her dress flows, to the bones being seen through the skin. Wow! I’ve had her displayed in my collection and she’s quickly become one of my favorites, as well as my friends and kids. The colors, the hair, and the little touches on her outfit all come together perfectly. Anyone who loves the Corpse Bride or enjoys unique collectible dolls will appreciate how well made she is and how eye-catching she looks in person. I would absolutely recommend adding her to your collection!
This beautiful doll is my favorite out of my collection. I love how Mattel incorporates little details from the movie and brings them straight to the store. What an outstanding doll! Maggot as her earrings was an amazing little detail that any Tim Burton fan would appreciate, and Scraps as her heel has to be my favorite detail of all! Phenomenal job, Mattel, keep up the awesome work!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right from the start this doll feels like a treasure to unbox. The packaging depicts movie scenes and with the pull off sides to open it makes a wonderful reusable storage box. The doll itself was well attached and did take a second extra to detach her delicate veil without damage. Her dress and details are spot on to the movie, the details are intricate right down to the dog on her heel and her exposed ribcage. If anything she’s almost too perfect to play with..almost. My daughter absolutely adore this doll
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Monster High Skullector Corpse Bride doll is honestly one of the most stunning releases in the line so far. She captures Emily’s fragile beauty perfectly — the big, expressive eyes, soft makeup, and that pale blue skin tone are just magical in person.
The wedding dress is incredible: layered, tattered, and so detailed that it feels like it came straight out of the movie. Even the veil and the tiny floral crown are perfectly done. You can tell a lot of love and care went into her design.
The packaging is also gorgeous and totally display-worthy, with the perfect gloomy romantic vibe. She’s instantly recognizable as Emily, but with that unique Monster High twist that makes her feel fresh and collectible.
Overall, she’s easily one of my favorite Skullectors — elegant, eerie, and absolutely breathtaking in person. 💙
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is an amazing representation of the movie and great for collectors. She has shunning details, such as her shoes, ring, and makeup. The box is sturdy and finely detailed. The doll body is movie accurate by showing her rib and skeletal parts. However, the stand goes between her legs and not around her waist and she tends to lean towards the non-skeleton leg because of the weight imbalance. But overall, she’s a great collector’s doll!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a fan of Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride, this doll is enchanting. They captured Emily's wistful look and cleverly incorporated symbolic elements into the design. Scraps, the dog, playfully serves as the heel on Emily's right shoe. She wears Victor's ring. Her overlay skirt and left heel evoke gnarled tree roots. The blue moths are featured in her headdress and the box's chapel background. As a collector and photographer, she photographs beautifully. I struggle a bit getting her position on the enclosed stand because her body is so thin. She is worth every penny.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi, I received the Monster High Corpse Bride Skullector Doll from Mattel. I was so excited to receive this because Monster High is my favorite. I’ve been collecting these dolls since they first came out and I was excited when I heard they were releasing the Corpse Bride doll. The box has so many details from the movie, the little details is what makes it so amazing. The doll itself is even more amazing. There’s so many tiny little pieces and details to her, I loved it. I especially liked all the bones on her that illuminated how she is in the movie, it gives a different texture to the doll. In specific, I was attracted to her ring, earrings, belt, glove and especially shoes because of the intricate details. Her hair is long and overall beautiful. Her veil is nice and long, with layers to her dress. Overall the doll is very beautiful and is a good representation of how she is in the movie. The veil is very pretty material, but it felt like I could accidentally rip it when unboxing her. Her hair is long and luscious, but I feel like it could be slightly silkier and smoother. The only big dislike I had was the stand. The stand goes between her legs and has a second part that attaches to it to hold her legs. However, the bone leg doesn’t feel very sturdy and doesn't fit firmly into the unique piece. I really prefer the other stands where they are held by the waist as they are more sturdy. I’m so glad I got the Corpse Bride doll. This is an amazing collector’s item to have. I thank Mattel for this opportunity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you love Monster High and spooky movies, this doll is to die for! The Corpse Bride Skullector doll is absolutely beautiful and full of ghostly charm. Her skin has that perfect pale blue color, and her dress looks just like it came straight out of the movie — layered with lace, sparkly details, and pretty blue butterflies. Even the little worm in her hair is there (and somehow still cute!).
The box is also amazing. It opens up like a special collector’s case, showing off the doll perfectly while keeping her safe. The artwork on the front looks so cool and makes it feel like you’re opening something truly magical.
