I do not like the carpet cleaner head . to hard to push does not seem to pick up much dirt.

We needed a vacuum that could handle cat litter on hardwood floors. Our normal vacuum with the brush rollers would just send it scattering. This vacuum is perfect for what we needed and were looking for. The suction power is absolutely amazing. It also works well on our laminate floors in the kitchen and the bathrooms too!!

I really love it. The specialty head really does almost suction to the floor. Does a wonderful job of our area rug too. It took me a week to find the clip on the back to hold the vacuum handle while not in use, and that was an awesome find. I like how easy it is to empty. Has very good suction. It glides across the floor and picks up everytjing. My only reason for the 4 stars is that the wheels don't roll very easily and it doesn't follow me while vacuuming. I have an unstable shoulder and the tugging is hard on it, and it seems naturally attracted to doorframes, it won't turn in the direction the hose is pulling from and too sharp of a turn causes it to flip over on its back.

This is a great vacuum for the money. The only negative is the attachments: there really isn't anywhere on the vacuum to attach them so you have to manage them separately. I can get them to stay on the wand connector but they snap off when I go under a chair or when I try to take one of them out of the holder. That's mildly annoying. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but so far, so good.

The Bissell 1549 Vaauum is everything I wanted in a hardwood floor vacuum. The tools, however are just about useless. I was hoping to get a good suction vacuum, which it is, and a good dusting tool which I use a lot. If you ever offer a better dusting tool I would be interested in purchasing it. I'm used to using a tool with longer bristles and one that has more motion so you can dust places like a higher display shelf. Your dusting tool just faces straight out and the bristles don't hug what I'm dusting. This is important to me, so as much as I love the hardwood floor attachment I'm very disappointed in the other tools.

Bought it a year ago and still very happy with it. Very comfortable and does great job on my hardwood and marble floors. Its best vac I ever had and I will buy it again.

I have hard floors, this vac is great. It has great power. The only con was the back wheels had a hard time turning, I put wd40 on them and they turn very easy. Great product.
