I primarily use this for my cleaning accounts with hard floors...however, this vacuum works great on low pile carpet, carpeted stairs and area rugs as well. The vacuum has very powerful suction and is unbelievably quiet. The canister is very easy to clean and the filters are easy to get to. I only wish the wheels moved a little easier/smoother; I usually end up picking the canister up and carrying it with me as I vacuum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been searching for a vacuum cleaner that would deal with the pet hair in my house, most of the flooring is hardwood. I have two dogs that shed like crazy (one of the them a Husky). Someone had recommended I purchase a Dyson DC33 vacuum cleaner as they said it was excellent. Well, not good on bare floor but excellent on carpeting. After doing some research, I ordered a Bissell Hard Floor Expert. OMG, I cannot believe how my house is now almost pet hair free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great vacuum for hardwood, couch, carpeted stairs. I have no complaints about this vacuum. I also think it was made for short people like me because the hose is not overly long and I dont have to shorten it for my height...which is a big plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During my life I owned a lot of vacuum cleaners, most of them were a top brands and I have to tell that Blissells quality better that I expected and much better than a lot of Korean and European brands. I'm really happy to own it. #sweepstakes
