Also it is excellent whit my baseman carpeting area.

So easy to clean after use because all the parts separate easily, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. I do maintenance for a living so l wanted something that was easy to service after use. Well worth the money in my opinion! Thanks for the sweepstakes entry too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum for hard surfaces. However, I bought this as it indicated rugs as well and shows a power head. The power head is powered by air, not a motor, and does not work at all on carpet. The "rugs" feature is done on the non brush head (straight vacuum) using a flip switch to give it more room. Not really what I was looking for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I especially like the fact that it is bagless and I can see how much it has picked up. I use it on our hardwood and tile floors and it does an excellent job. I also use it on my carpet because it gets the dog hair that my upright vacuum leaves behind. I empty it after each use because of the dog hair and it is so simple.

I recommend this vacuum forsure if you have hard floors. It's also good on area rugs with the carpet attachment, I have entrance mats and area rugs in bedrooms and it's work great for me. Its easy to clean, so far I have no issues. I also have a cordless BISSELL and I love it also. BISSELL is all in all a good product great customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Model 1547 specifically because I have all new bamboo floors in my new house. It is imperative that the vacuum is strong enough to do the job, but delicate on my expensive new floors. I am pleasantly surprised at how good a job it does! Even on the wood in my kitchen. I use the turbine hard floor tool instead of the floor nozzle. The brushes are soft on my floor. The turbine action scoops the dust into the vacuum. The brushes on the floor nozzle are much too stiff and brittle for wood. So far, no problems; I think I will love it. I have yet to attempt to empty the dust cup, but I think as neat as I am it won't be a bother. I really wanted to try a vacuum with no bags to buy continually. I wish they offered an additional soft brush all around floor nozzle like they used to.
