Had high hopes based on all the excellent reviews, but ended up being very disappointed in this product. It was difficult to pull around and had poor wheels that do not turn well, the cord is quite short and left me changing plug-ins frequently, it also does not adequately reach under beds or spaces with short clearance because the vacuume head lifts off the ground when you attempt to lower the handle. I also found the hard floor attachment very sticky and difficult to push/pull - it was not smooth and easy to use like other vacuumes I've used. The attachments it came with (baseboard brush, etc) did not perform well and were very cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two long haired dogs over 100 pounds and a very tired 15yr old Bissell slowing down, I needed this vacuum badly. It was breath of fresh air, literally, since my placed used to smell like wet dog after vacuuming but this new filter system actually make sit smell fresh. Didn't think that was possible. I use the second head attachment to clean the hair off the bed, can't believe I lived this long without a vacuum that can do that. Only issue is the smallest wheels in the heads get clogged with hair, but I clean them after almost every use and its still rolling smoothly. I bought Bissell because they support pets. Now I'll be buying them out of product loyalty.

I use the vacuum on hardwoods and berber carpet and it is performing great on both. The amount of suction is perfect. Only negative, the cannister is on the tippy side when pulling around and the cord retraction, while it works well is a bit on the lethal side...

Good vacuum cleaner at this price point

It has been close to 3 months and we use this vacuum regularly for our fabric upholstery, laminate floors and area rugs and it has been impressive so far. It serves our purpose just fine. The only thing that spoiled an otherwise perfect overall experience is that the sleeve on the hose that connects to the metal wand is brittle plastic and gave away only after a few uses.
