This phone is absolutely unbelievable.

Every time I unfold it, I still catch myself just staring at how thin and light it is — it’s honestly unreal. The outer display feels like a regular phone now, not a compromise, which makes it perfect for quick messages, calls, or social scrolling. Then you open it up, and the massive inner display completely changes how you use a phone — streaming, gaming, multitasking, even school or work projects feel like they belong on a tablet. Watching movies or editing documents on that screen is next-level immersive.
Galaxy AI takes the experience even further. From real-time transcription and translation during classes or meetings to Note Assist and generative photo editing, it genuinely feels like having a smart assistant built right in. It learns my habits and helps me focus when I need to, pairing perfectly with Samsung’s digital wellbeing tools that remind me to take breaks and manage screen time better.

The BEST Fold yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned every Fold and can say the Fold 7 is absolutely the best Fold made, and the best folding phone available!
I use it for personal and work. It's everything that you expect from a phone, plus has enough usability that I can handle some work-related tasks that wouldn't be possible on a regular smart phone, and don't have to reach for my laptop or tablet.
Galaxy AI on the Fold 7 has been the most useful AI yet. So useful, that I actually use it now, instead of just as a party trick.
Keep up the great work Samsung!

Returned to the fold 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Left the fold 3 and went to the 24 ultra, for the battery life and upgraded cameras.
After reading about the upgrades on the fold 7 I had to pull the trigger. Battery life for me is comparable to the 24u, same for the cameras. The larger screens are also a big plus.

Do not buy zfold7

Got on release day, the phone lasted 2 months. I was using the inner display then closed it reopened it a minute later and half the screen wasn't working. After opening and closing it a couple times it stopped working altogether. Sent it in for repair thinking it was covered under the 1 yr warranty and they denied it saying it was physical damage. It is the last samsung product I will ever own.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
