Fold technology is coming along nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Z Fold 7 because I was finally ready to try the Fold series. I have to say as a Manga reader I am a huge fan of this style of phone. I upgraded from the S23 Ultra.
The positives: The Fold function is incredible. The 7 was a great upgrade on the width issues seen on earlier models.
Main issues I have seen: I have experience minor wear where my left thumb sits on the open device. There is a slight film like noise when I open and close the device. Occasionally, the open screen flickers. The charging is slower than my s23 Ultra... I never assumed this would ever be downgraded so it was a bit of a shocker.
Overall the phone is great for every day use. As with all modern phones durability could be improved. Still excited to use future iterations of this model. I am looking forward to increased screen durability and faster charging speeds.

Hi there SledPhoner,
The Galaxy Z Fold7 features a spacious folding display, better proportions, and versatile multitasking capabilities that enhance everything from reading manga to everyday usage. We’re pleased to hear that you appreciate the wider design. We also value your feedback regarding issues such as screen wear, flickering, the sound when opening and closing the device, and charging speed. Samsung is committed to refining future foldable experiences based on your insights. Thank you for choosing Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to get the Z Fold 7 due to wanting something bigger yet sleeker for when I play games or watch videos. However, I didnt want a tablet.
I also love reading on my device and the picture and frame rate is excellent when it comes to playing games.
For example Where winds meet, works exceptionally and looks just as good on my T.V.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an older person, I appreciate having the versatility of making the text bigger and having a larger keyboard. My eyes aren't what they used to be. So, its a big help to be able to unfold the screen. I chose this phone to being me back to reading. Because of the screen size, I can download ebooks and read them a lot easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold7. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is an incredible phone and easily the best foldable Samsung has made. The thinner, lighter design makes it much more comfortable to carry and use, while the larger 8-inch inner display is fantastic for multitasking, watching videos, browsing, and getting work done.
The 200MP main camera takes impressive photos with plenty of detail, and the overall performance feels fast and smooth. I also really like the wider cover screen—it feels much more natural to use when the phone is folded.
The Fold7 feels premium, powerful, and genuinely useful rather than just being a phone that folds. If you want a phone that combines productivity, entertainment, excellent cameras, and cutting-edge design, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is definitely it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first foldable phone was the Z Fold 3 and I loved it. I've chose to upgrade every two years since then. I chose the Z Fold 7 in 2025 and it was a great choice. It is perfect to watch videos on and play games.
