Flipped into a new world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2014, I purchased my very first smartphone, a Galaxy S Vibrant. Before that time, the future seemed set in stone. A small screen, voice calls and texts by the cent. It was simple back then, but you still had to fight with the quirks or a new technology.
Years later, a smartphone is no longer interesting, it's the same thing with more power and a bigger frame.
So how does one recapture that feeling or a new future?
So how does one recapture that feeling or a new future?
To me it's twofold, change the nature or the phone and evolve into an AI centric future.
With the Z Flip 7, the new normal of the future phone is capable of being anything. A standard slab phone can give you everything you need, but the flip also gives me what I want. Versatility, speed, reliability but most importantly for me, excitement. Every time I look at the cover screen, i feel excitement. When I flip the phone open, I feel excited. When I boot up a game, take a photo, place it in tent mode, I'm beyond myself with excitement.
You will see many reviews tell you the stats, the inches the gigabytes. All of that is important but it melts away when you place your hands on a device like this.
This would be the end of the list really if it weren't for the other half of the equation, Galaxy AI. The key here is how little I know about AI, it's been a daunting idea to learn such things. Galaxy AI makes the idea easy to understand but also fun to execute. I will never not summarize ever again.
The future flips! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Almost there, needs better camera and battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the form factor, the build quality and hinge are great. I love the front screen and the main screen size as well. I also love the fact a that Galaxy AI is way ahead of the iPhone (like image editing)
My only complaints are the battery, camera and cover screen usability. Samsung should match what the Razr Ultra is doing with those things.

LoveThat is really light love that I can just look at my screen without even opening it.And I can reply, I can search the web.I can watch netflix.I can take pictures, love that it fits right in my pocket.I can even have it on my front pocket without even having to be afraid that it's gonna fall out.The quality of it love it.The picture quality is perfect.The video is perfect.The sound is so perfect.I just love everything about it.Glad I decided to go with this phone.

A stylish upgrade with great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Flip 7 since its release, and it definitely feels like a big step forward. The larger cover screen is super useful, and the overall design is thinner, lighter, and more refined. It looks premium and feels great in the hand.
Performance is fast, the new AI features are fun and practical, and the Flex Mode makes multitasking easier. The cameras are solid, and using the phone folded for photos is still one of my favorite features.
I gave it 4 stars because the battery is just okay, and the crease is still visible. But honestly, it’s one of the most unique and enjoyable phones I’ve ever used.

Interesting concept with a retromodern vibe

The phone is easy to use, then folds into a small pocket sized device. Great picture and sound quality. Unfortunately, I did find that the screen did not hold up a year's worth of daily use, folding and closing the phone cause significant damage over time to the screen.
