[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i like this phone because it folds into a small footprint that can fit into any pocket and not hang out or fall out and has little possible of being stolen. The phone has all the features of my wife's galaxy series phones. I choose to reamend this phone to anyone who wants a small footprint phone with all the lasted features.

Absolutely love the features of this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Flip 7, because of how compact it is. It reminds of me of the early 2000s, and I love it lol. The only thing id change on this is the camera quality. I honestly expected way better quality this is. We're not all photographers, so I shouldn't HAVE to go into Pro mode to take a good picture... The video and picture quality are only really good when im outside, and its sunny. Otherwise, they look terrible. My old s21+ had better quality than this one. I love taking pictures and videos, and used to always get really good compliments on how great they looked, coming from a phone. Now, I struggle with good pictures. The Zoom on videos and pics are terrible. I've reset the settings, just to see if the default would be better quality and it still wasnt. Maybe im doing something wrong? Idk.
Also, please bring back Samsung Messages. I hate Google messages.
Overall, the device itself is super sleek, compact, sturdy and has some amazing features. The camera quality and messages are my only cons. I'd still choose this version and any upgraded Z Flip series from here on out. BTW, the Z Flip 7 is my first ever Z series purchased. Before that, it was the S and Note series and I loved those as well.

Cool phone... but lacking in the battery dept

My interest in the Flip 7 peaked because of the Kdramas that I watch. I've seen a lot of actors use the Z Flip phones. I purchased the blue one, and out of the box, I was impressed by the look and feel of it. I like the compact style and the full screen on the cover. Sometimes the two camera notches got it the way of typing or pressing send, which got annoying, until I learned that you can adjust the screen ratio so it makes everything easier to navigate. At work, I use a phone stand, so I keep the phone unfolded during the work day. I've heard of the "crease feeling" issues when I looked into this phone, but with the 7, I have to say, I didn't notice the crease much, whether I was viewing a video or sliding my finger across the screen during usage. I'm not saying it's completely crease free, but it is very minimal. It isn't bothersome.
The cameras is good, but it isn't the greatest. I switched from a OnePlus 13 to the Z Flip 7, and I definitely noticed the drawback in camera capabilities. I'm not much of a picture taker, but I do love taking pictures of a full moon and beautiful sunrise every now and then, and the Z Flip 7 definitely pales in comparison to the OnePlus 13. But the camera isn't why I chose the Z Flip 7. It was more because of the functionality and the coolness factor.
Finding the right case was frustrating at times, because some cases make it feel bulky, even when folded, and other cases had silicon material that always made me feel like it was soaked in baby powder. My hands were always dry holding it, and I noticed that silicon cases, for me, are slippery.
Now, for my cons: the battery life, charging speed, and overheating issues.
Across the board, whether a Flip 7 or older, the batter size is small, and unless I used the battery saver mode, it drained pretty quickly during the day, and I didn't even use it much as is. By lunch time, I was always sitting between 50%-60%, so I would give it a quick charge before I got off work. It also charges very slow. If you're in the 60% range, expect it to take 1-2 hours to get it to 100%. I also noticed that when I connect it to the charge cable in the car, it would always get hot. I found myself holding it up to the A/C vent during every drive trying to keep it from getting too hot. I also noticed that it wouldn't charge the battery when it overheats. When I get off work at the end of the day, I get in the car with it in the 80% range, and after an almost 1 hour drive home, my phone is hot and it's in the 70% range.
The cons alone made me give it up. I got tired of holding my phone up to the A/C during drives, and the battery life and charge time prevented me from really using it more often during the day. If this isn't an issue for you, it's a good phone to have.
I would recommend this to a friend!
