[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had it for a few weeks, but I love it. Plenty powerful, and the charge lasts a long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far quality seems good, no problems found. I have had this rider for about a month now and really like it. It's quiet and smooth. Best part, no gas, no oil, no sparkplugs, no dead battery, no engine starter to go bad, no air filters, NO BELTS or pulleys, no loud engine noises, no hot exhaust catching stuff on fire. As you can see the list goes on. Never going back to gas again. My die hard old school neighbor checked it out and after 3 minutes he was sold, said he plans to sell his john deere zero steer after this season and pick up this rider for next year. My wife loves it cause it is easy for her to use and also she can mow the grass while our baby is taking her afternoon nap and not worry about waking her up. The six batteries last more than long enough to do my 1 acre of grass about 3 times before I need to charge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A bit quicker than comparable gas model but does the job well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower in 2023. It still performs great. Had one battery die but it was under warranty and they replaced it for no cost.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a bit less than 2 acres. The machine cuts well but I have to charge it twice to get it done. The batteries charge fast though. I was expecting a bit more cut time and it's a little dainty compared to my Scag. Revrse is super slow. I hope I never run into a hornets nest with it. Also the batteries need to be removed to charge which is a pain.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Allen Smith.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the 80V 42" CrossoverZ. We are glad to hear it cuts well and that the fast-charging batteries are a plus, but we also understand your concerns about runtime, reverse speed, and the battery removal process.
Cutting close to Two acres can push the limits of a single charge. Factors like grass density, dense, tall grass will require more power, reducing battery life. A flat, well-maintained lawn will be easier to mow and last longer. Terrain, hilly or uneven terrain can also impact battery life, requiring more effort from the mower and draining the battery faster. If the grass has been left to exceed Four inches, we advise that you raise the cutting height and cut no more than one-third of the length of grass at a time, wait a couple of days and do another one-third, cut when grass is dry and walk at steady pace to allow the blade to work more efficiently. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help! We understand that having to remove the batteries for charging can be inconvenient, and we appreciate you pointing that out. If you'd like to talk through any tips on optimizing runtime or general use, our support team is here to help. You can reach us at 1-888-909-6757 or via Live Chat on greenworkstools.com.
Thanks again for your feedback — it plays an important role in how we continue to improve.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just over half an acre, and it was too much to mow by hand. I adore greenworks’ products, and intensely dislike filling gas cans and yanking chains. Also, maintenance is a pain for gas thingies. This was a no-brainer. The 42” fit perfectly in a shed with a 48” door opening.
I was unprepared for the steering arms, and nearly ran over my brother. While I do have another brother, my mother would have been furious. I think that I would have been much better at driving this had I ever played video games. Happily, I have gotten MUCH better at steering. This mower does a fabulous job! It mowed nearly foot-high grass like a champ. The zero-turn feature is fabulous! I now love mowing the grass. It is finally tamed, and it doesn’t look like a carelessly abandoned property anymore.
