Nice Mower!

Bought this mower for large lawn in NH. This is the first season and it did great. The bagger works well for picking up leaves. The mower has nice cutting power although not quite the same as the 24 HP gas engine. Batteries have great life I can get 2 mows out of them for a 1.2 acre lot. Hopefully in the future Greenworks establishes a larger parts network and has youtube or a better manual to allow for some of the maintenance to be done by the owners.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything is perfect with this Riding mower. I used gas riding mower in the past. This is faster and better. However, there are things that could be improved. 1. Charging need to pull the battery out and the batteries are pretty heavy. 2. Parking brake has issues. It does not work. Created a ticket with no response from Greenworks so far.
Can anyone show a picture of where the gearbox oil is supposed to go? The manual shows it's near the left rear wheel. Clearly if you're comparing my mowers picture with that of the manual you can clearly see there is no gearbox oil at stated location? Or am I blind?
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful
Definitely enjoyed the mower! Very quiet comparing to the gas one my neighbor owns, and the battery had 70% left after I'm done with my yard, so very satisfied. There was an unfortunate delivery incident but support was very helpful getting it resolved.
I bought this mower a couple of months ago. It came in like 2 days from my order and the shipping company was top notch. It comes on a shipping frame just like the Ryobi unit does. This is my first riding mower, but I still was very impressed. I have a yard that has many hills that are much greater than the 15-degree incline that this mower is recommended to be limited to. (Mine are closer to 30 degrees and some more than that) That doesn't bother it one bit when you are going up a steep incline. My yard is about .3/4 to 1 acre of grass. It took me 53 minutes compared to the 2.5 hours before with a Honda self-propelled push mower with a 21" or so deck. It is very quiet (no hearing protection required in my book) and really has a lot of power. On my first cut the battery life went from 100% down to ONLY 86%. I also very inefficiently cut the grass as it was my first time. I have effectively used the unit for 5 plus cuts and just joy riding without having had to charge the batteries. ONE CRUCIAL DETAIL TO THE AVERAGE HOMEOWNER: The chargers draw up to 10 amps! This means you CANNOT charge all 6 batteries on a 20-amp circuit. I have tried and I trip my breaker. I have charged 4 successfully at a time on a 20-amp breaker in my shed. This could be a huge drawback or very inconvenient for some. I think this mower would benefit from having a plug-in option instead of battery removal, but for my uninsulated shed this is just fine. For those wondering as I did, the rear hitch hole size is 5/8". I wish Greenworks would offer more attachments for this mower such as Cub Cadet or even Ryobi does. It would be good for them to at least put a compatibility chart or YouTube channel together so that we can understand what attachments work well for this product. For example: I would like to understand if I can retrofit a sleeve hitch to add a tiller to the unit. Would this create too more force that would twist the lighter weight frame of the unit? Since I have nothing to compare this to, I have given it a 5-star rating. Most of what I discuss I was aware of prior to purchasing the unit or had a hunch that could be the case. I hope Greenworks reads these reviews and looks to address some of the customer concerns to continue to grow as a top tier yard equipment provider.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful
This is a great mower. It handled about 3/4 acre and still had 30% juice remaining. I also like that I can use the same batteries in my weed trimmer, and leaf blower, and soon to be snow blower. I'm counting on a lot of years of no service before having to replace the batteries.
