Thank you for sharing your experience with the 80V 42" CrossoverZ. We are glad to hear it cuts well and that the fast-charging batteries are a plus, but we also understand your concerns about runtime, reverse speed, and the battery removal process.

Cutting close to Two acres can push the limits of a single charge. Factors like grass density, dense, tall grass will require more power, reducing battery life. A flat, well-maintained lawn will be easier to mow and last longer. Terrain, hilly or uneven terrain can also impact battery life, requiring more effort from the mower and draining the battery faster. If the grass has been left to exceed Four inches, we advise that you raise the cutting height and cut no more than one-third of the length of grass at a time, wait a couple of days and do another one-third, cut when grass is dry and walk at steady pace to allow the blade to work more efficiently. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help!
