Assembly was straight forward and well directed Initially, it is a jarring ride with jerky speed and turn inputs. The tires often skid while steering mower. Reduced air pressure in tires, adjusted seat rearward and handles back. carry a bag of sand in the trunk to get weight over rear wheels, aids traction and ride quality. Seat is very comfortable. Reverse is slow Wall Charging is great, although fans continue until unplugged from machine. Machine very quiet (no hearing protection required at min blade speed) and very strong. Cutting at min blade speed and middle ground speed does a couple acres of lighter to moderate grass no problem. Greenworks was great to work with.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Greenworks 80V 42" CrossoverZ Zero Turn Lawn Mower (SKU CRZ4282A2). We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying its quiet power, comfortable seating, convenient wall charging, and overall performance. To help with the initial learning curve of zero-turn operation, you may find it helpful to adjust the drive control levers to a lower or medium speed setting. This can make steering feel more manageable and help reduce tire skidding. Maintaining balanced tire pressure within the recommended range, keeping the deck level, and ensuring the drive tires are free of packed mud or damp grass can also help optimize traction. Regarding the charger, the cooling fans are designed to continue running after charging is complete to help dissipate heat and protect battery health until the charger is unplugged. For additional tips on drive lever adjustments, battery care, and zero-turn operation, we invite you to visit the official Greenworks YouTube channel, where you'll find helpful instructional videos. If you have any questions or need assistance in the future, our Customer Success Team is happy to help at 1-888-908-6723 or through our online support center.
We've had this for a year now, and I love the utility of it. With the ability to tow a wagon, or other garden tools like a scarifier, this is not just a mower, but a general purpose utility vehicle. I'm always using it to ride around from place to place on our 8 acre property, and it's quite speedy!
The mowing is smooth and it makes an even cut. It's easy to drive, although I will say that the steering is a little stiff at low speeds. The seat is comfortable and I like that we can see the charge all the time. I got the wall charger, so I can just plug it in, rather than take the batteries out, and it works just like an electric car in that sense.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad to hear how much value you are getting out of your mower as both a cutting tool and a utility vehicle. It is great that it is meeting your needs across a larger property and providing a smooth, even cut while also being versatile enough for towing and general transport. The onboard charge visibility and wall-charging convenience are definitely features many users appreciate for that “plug-and-go” experience. `Regarding the steering feeling a bit stiff at lower speeds, this can sometimes be influenced by tire pressure or terrain, so we recommend checking that the tires are properly inflated and operating the unit on level ground to see if that improves maneuverability. Over time, components can also loosen slightly with regular use, which may help the steering feel more responsive. For additional tips on operation, maintenance, and getting the most out of your riding mower, we encourage visiting our Greenworks YouTube channel for helpful how-to videos. If you ever have questions or would like further assistance, our Customer Success team is always available at 1-888-909-6757 or or through our online support center.

Hello deb111, we’re sorry to hear that your CrossoverT mower is displaying an MR23 error and stopping shortly after you begin mowing. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this would be, especially considering the investment involved and the relatively small property you maintain. This mower carries a four-year or 200-hour limited warranty, whichever comes first. Even if the warranty period has ended, we encourage you to contact Greenworks Support so our team can review the error code, the mower’s operating hours, and the available service options. If further inspection is needed, our team can also help locate an Authorized Service Centre in your area. Until the concern has been reviewed, please keep the mower powered off and stationary before performing any inspection or adjustments. Contact Greenworks Support at 1-888-909-6757 or through Live Chat on our website with your model information, proof of purchase, and current operating hours available. Our team will be glad to provide further warranty and service support.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We understand how exhausting a rough ride can be, especially when navigating uneven terrain. To help soften the ride on your CrossoverT Riding Lawn Mower, here are a few troubleshooting tips to try: 1. Adjust Tire Pressure: Riding mowers are often shipped with tires inflated to maximum pressure for stability during transit. Lowering the front and rear tire PSI to the recommended operating levels in your owner's manual will significantly soften the ride and allow the tires to absorb ground impacts. 2. Inspect Seat Position & Springs: Ensure your seat is properly adjusted along its track so the suspension springs underneath can freely compress and absorb shock as you drive. 3. Lower Drive Speed: Reducing your forward speed over bumpy patches gives the frame and tires time to react to terrain changes rather than bouncing over them. 4. Set Anti-Scalp Deck Wheels: Verify that the deck gauge wheels are set roughly 1/2 inch off the ground while parked on a level surface. This prevents the mower deck from striking high spots on uneven ground. For visual guides on mower setup, tire pressure checks, and routine maintenance, visit the Greenworks YouTube Channel. If these adjustments do not improve your ride comfort, please contact our Customer Success Team directly so we can review your setup and ensure your mower is performing as comfortably as possible. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools website, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
Exceptionally well built, this however increases the weight and if you have hills or steep inclines expect runtime to be reduced. Also, hills and slopes will need to be dry to prevent slipping. Charging is simple and relatively fast, very reliable. The machine will cut through very tall and wet grass - again runtime will be reduced.
The claimed “Up to 4 Acres” - this must be for perfectly level, smooth, minimal trim level and minimum turns - like a football pitch. The website does not specify what conditions are required to achieve the claimed acreage - nor does it advertise a runtime.
In our experience, 2 acres can be done with upgraded batteries- replacing the 4 x 6 amp hour batteries with 4 x 8 amp hour batteries.
Overall very pleased, love the reduced noise level and no fumes. Would buy again.
I bought this mower at end of April. I mow about 4 acres, I can do it all on one charge. This thing is great, only problem was I had never used a zero turn so that was a learning process. I'm getting pretty good now. My wife even mowed with it one day, she loved it. Seat is very comfortable. My only problem is speed, it is very quick and since I'm a newbie to zero turns I keep it on low speed setting.
Some improvements could be made but machine seems!

Had it for a week and like the mower with the following exceptions: 1. The front tires are soft and leave rubber marks on my concrete driveway 2. The rear tires slip a lot on grass, etc. and if it is wet at all be careful. Not impressed with the tread 3. The wall charger for the mower does not shut off once the charging is completed for the mower batteries and you have to unplug the charger from the mower.
