I bought this mower as the primary mower for my 1 1/4 acre property. I am only about 1 month into using it, but the mower cuts well and is very smooth and easy to ride. The battery life is OK, not great. Mowing the whole property on one charge is possible but I have to be conscious of usage in order to do that. The one thing I wish they had done is put a charge plug on the mower itself, rather than expecting you to pull out 6 heavy batteries and charge outside the mower.
I researched the heck out of this lawnmower and am really glad I did! So much so, that I actually went through with buying one! I have no complaints with this rider. I saw some reviews with people complaining about how heavy the batteries are because you have to lift them out of the rider to charge them, c'mon on now. I tried plugging in all 6 batteries at one location at the same time and it tripped the breaker, so just plan ahead for that. Charging the batteries is very fast! There is barely any noise when cutting.. so long ear plugs! I haven't tried towing anything yet so no comment there. The size of the rider was important to me and I wasn't sure how I would fit on this machine. I'm a big guy (6ft, 280 lbs) and I sit very comfortably on this rider. Also, I read some reviews saying the description wasn't accurate about cutting 2 acres? So here's the thing, it depends if you have had the batteries on the charger before cutting or not. I feel like I shouldn't have to say that but to some, it might not be so obvious. We own 2 properties and I started with 86% and by the time I was done, it was at 58%. That was all done by not charging the batteries before I started to give you an idea. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and can't wait to use it again!
I was skeptical about going electric, but I've been very satisfied with this mower. I have about 4 acres of mowing and I can usually get most of it done on 1 charge. The charging is super fast and the blades cut my fields and grass without issue. It's also fun to drive and I love how quiet it is. I have many hills and the electric motor is great at preventing spin outs or getting stuck. Just be careful of using cruise control on hills since it can really speed up fast after turning down hill.
I do love my Greenworks riding mower! I have had it for 3 months now and use it every week. Starts every time and have had the gearbox oil changed 1 time so far! Easy to mow with this mower! I have all Greenworks equipment now, snowblower and powerwasher plus a push mower! I have used the powerwasher 1 time and love it too, have not used snowblower yet but will get to use that too soon. The push mower is easy peasy too! Love Greenworks. One thing I have a question about is in the manual it say's something about a battery filter needs to be changed, but can't seem to locate one on the website to get to replace it! Anyone know anything about this? Also is there something underneath that you should not spray the grass clippings out? The wash port doesn't really get the stuck on grass out! Especially when you mow when the grass is still not too dry!
it took me a little while to get used to the weight balance - it's center-heavy and my old gas machine was front heavy. I mow what is euphemistically called a lawn but is really some grass scattered throughout shrubby woods on a fairly steep slope. We changed out the rear tires for heavy duty ones after I experienced slippage with the originals. The machine is quiet, not at all dusty (my gas rider kicked up a LOT of dust), and fast. I can do all my trails, yards, orchard, etc., in 1.5 hours compared to two plus hours with my old machine. Each mowing uses only about 15% of the battery storage. I've charged it up once (after initial charge) and have used it 5 or 6 times. That's amazing to me. The cutting blades are quiet and seem to work quite well. Back-and-forthing takes some getting used to. Overall, I am quite impressed and pleased with my purchase.

You way undersell it's abilities. Great hill climber. Batteries last way longer than stated. Chargers way faster than stated. Just a truly great mower. My only complaint is that the battery bag shoulder strap tore off the first day. Still able to use the handles though so no big deal.
