LOVE MY SEAL-A-MEAL

This is a great product to package a meal In portions and have them on hand for a quick meal….The seal-A-Meal is easy to use and stores easily away. I love not having to cook meals every day and the seal-a-meal makes my life easier!

Life Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I frequently have to go to the store numerous times throughout the week because I couldn’t figure out a way to break up packs of meat for my small family. This food saver came in handy! I can now purchase larger packs of meat and use my food saver to split the packs for later use. Finally!!!

Great food sealer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this food sealer! We have a deep freezer that I like to stock up on food in. I have had trouble in the past with meat and some other items staying and tasting fresh enough after time in the freezer. These little sealed bags have made a great difference in our freezer meals keeping their taste and texture despite being frozen for a while. It also makes everything in the freezer much more compact so we can store more. I highly recommend this food sealer!

Best one I have ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FoodSaver made a good product here. I have used a handful of similar food sealers and this one has been the easiest to use and works without fail. We Sous Vide often as we use it for meal prep. So, I've gotten to use this vacuum sealer quite a bit since I received it. I've used it on wet and dry foods, froze them, sous vide them. Just about everything. The seal holds up! From beginning to end this is the first vacuum sealer that has not let me down!

Great to have in your kitchen

I had a hard time to learn how to use it, it is not so obvious and the directions are not that clear, I had to watch a video to get the hang of it.

Cleanup is a snap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this Seal A Meal Vacuum Food Storage System is sleek and slim. I haven't had any difficulties finding a place for it in my kitchen, which is great since I am limited in space with my small home. As for usage, I could not wait to try it. I purchase food in bulk on a regular basis and usually store things in zipper bags.
I was always concerned that a food vacuum system would be cumbersome and difficult to use. Wow, was I wrong! Upon opening the box, I quickly went to the Reference Guide, ready to read a laundry list of instructions. Seven bullet points later, I was ready to use my system.
I had some chicken that I knew I needed to freeze. I put the chicken in the provided bags and put the item into place (make sure you put the open end of the bag into the drip tray, otherwise it will not seal). So, ensuring that everything was in the right position and ready to go, I placed my hands into position on the Hands-free Indicator. I pressed and sure enough, the hands-free light turned on. In seconds, the bag was ninety-five percent free of air and perfectly sealed.
Another concern I had was how difficult will cleanup be. As with everything, the more time you must spend cleaning up, the less likely you are to use it. Apparently, this system was designed with that in mind. Even though moisture from my food can usually be seen in the top portion of the bag after sealing, I never see any deposits in the tray. Still, for the sake of food safety, I wash it every time.
Overall, the FoodSaver is quiet and easy to use. Cleanup is a snap, of course. The replacement bags are a bit on the pricey side, though. But, they are much thicker than zipper freezer bags and the food stays fresher longer which helps deflect the cost.

Time and money saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a life saver for our family. During the pandemic we started buying meat in bulk to save money and cut down on trips to the store. This vacuum sealer has been the only way to make this actually work for us! It does an amazing job at sealing what we need to be able to freeze.
