Basic vacuum sealing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Seal-A-Meal is a great inexpensive introduction to vacuum sealing. You do have to cut your bags with this one. Cut the size you need from the roll, use seal only to seal one end, fill with food and vacuum seal. Easy peasy! It only comes with four quart bags, so be sure to order more bags. I prefer to buy the rolls so I can make whatever size I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Review for Seal-A-Meal by FoodSaver is the best tool to add to your kitchen. I have used my foodsaver vacuum sealer several times. The gallon bag size is my favorite and provides plenty of room for the food to spread out. The meat kept in the sealed bags last twice as long in the fridge and the freezer. I would highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed

Perfect item to seal your food - frozen or fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had always wanted a food saver tool but was hesitant to purchase one. Man am I so glad this fell into my hands. I’ve been able to use it to freeze vegetables, meats, and dinners and I have had absolutely no issues with freezer burned items. All my food stays incredibly fresh and tasty! If you are on the fence I highly recommend you get yourself one. You will not regret it!

Quick and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this device - it's so easy to use! Slot the opening of the bag into the machine, close and hold the lid down. After a couple of seconds, it sucks the air out of the bag and locks the lid while it seals it. A few more seconds and the job is done.
The vacuum part is optional. It's best to make sure you don't have too much liquid in with whatever you're trying to seal when using the vacuum. Any liquid drawn out is held in a drip tray that is easily removable for cleaning. I did find that the liquid could prevent a perfect seal, but items without excess liquid, like chicken breasts, did form a perfect vacuum seal.
The unit itself is very compact, and easily stores with the bags in the pantry. The power cord is short, but that's ok for something like this that isn't going to be out on the counter for long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Seal-A-Meal by Food Saver works great. It seals your food tightly and keeps it fresh. My son uses it to package his deer meat and fish. It keeps it secure in the freezer and tastes so fresh months later. I have sealed corn from our garden and vegetables plus other store bought meats and have been impressed with the quality of this product and how well the food still tastes fresh after weeks or months later. I highly recommend this product.

Great little kitchen gadget!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've seen these vacuume sealers for years but have never bought one. I thought they'd be complicated to use or take up a lot of room. This little machine is neither of those! It's SUPER easy to use. My 7 year old has designated himself as the Captain of the Sealer and wants to be the one to seal all bags. It's that easy to use! It's not bulky and I just tucked it in my pantry. This thing will be getting tons of use!

I can now sous vide, freeze meals/food properly and not worry about freezer burn or things spoiling and getting ruined. It works fantastic a a holder to marinate food as well. I would definitely recommend this product to food lovers around the world!
