Always wanted one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a food sealer. This will help me save food from freezer burn. I end up throwing out meat and such because of freezer burn. Even using freezer bags it didn't help. So I am trying this and have had good results so far. And should save space so I can put more in my freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seal-A-Meal By FoodSaver is a wonderful product so easy to use my garden is producing alot of extra vegetables and being able to seal them up and put them in the freezer has been great I love that there are so many different seal-A-Meal bags to choose from and so easy to use and a wonderful way to persevere all your food I have done meat and vegetables I am sealing every thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy in bulk and repackage my food to store in the freezer. I was using regular freezer bags. I'll admit sometimes the food goes to waste because the regular freezer bags have a short lifespan. I dislike having to discard food that is freezer burnt so I was in search of a better solution. I decided to order the seal-a-meal system. The system came with 4 starter bags which was helpful to get started and they gave me an idea as to what bags to purchase. The instructions were easy to follow.. After sealing one end of the bag, you just need to check the seal, flip the bag around and start packaging your food. To achieve a tight airless seal you will want to leave some room away from the food that is being packaged. I like the press down feature but it took some time to perfect using it. Overall, easy to use, removes all of the air and provides quick packaging. Time will tell how long my food lasts in the freezer. It's a keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gem is so fun to use, I forgot to take pictures. It is easy to set up and easy to seal the bags. The warm up time is minimal. I used it for shredded and block cheese, along with some corn on the cob that I had cut off the cob... Everything I have sealed I have frozen and the items are not puffing up or getting freezer burnt. It's keeping the air out.

This food saver has saved us so much money since we bought it in chop meat alone. The vacuum seal is incredible I would highly recommend this item for anybody who's tired of throwing away meat.
