Small footprint, can work on large bags.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these for freezing food cooked on weekends for the week and keeping large quantities of pantry items fresh. I have stored small fabric items for keepsake in them. Can heat food in the bag by simmering or microwave. This model doesn’t have a moist setting, but you can freeze it a little before you seal. You have to push on both sides to start the seal. So you need counter space for the sealer and the bag. It’s rather easy to store compared to my older model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I didn't go into trying this with an open mind. I have been let down by other vacuum sealers. I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. It works much better than the previous ones I have owned. Its not as loud as the others either. The suction is strong and seals very well. Its very easy to use as well as store. Its compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. So it works great for what we use it for. My wife is happy so that makes me happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The name says it all it’s a “food saver”! I eat a lot of salads and fresh vegetables. One of my biggest problems was my lettuces not saying fresh long enough. Now I can prep my lettuces for salad bag and seal them and they stay fresh and crisp. I also like the seal a meal for foods I’m freezing. I recommend it to everyone.

Great Sealing Capabilities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been used to seal frozen meat, thawed meat, veggies, fruits! Super impressed with the seating power of this device. Usually with meat not frozen or even partially, the juices seep through and there’s a huge mess. This sealer is wonderful and does the job without all those issues. I was super impressed. I’ll definitely recommend this to friends and family. I cannot wait to seal more foods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitchen is small, so the counter tops have limited space. I was surprised that it actually did fit in my kitchen without a hassle. My freezer is kinda on the smaller spectrum so organizing is very important. With these sealed bags, I finally have the freezer full without food smelling like freezer or getting freezer burned. I’m also learning about all the things that actually do well frozen especially in vacuum seal. I love this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this Seal-A-Meal by FoodSaver so I could take advantage of sales on meat and fresh produce at the grocery store and then package food to store in the freezer. I love that it pulls the extra air out so my food doesn't get freezer burnt. I am also really pleased with how easy it is to use! I was afraid it might be hard to operate, but it's so easy to line up the edges and then just press the button. The vacuum sealer does the rest!

Easy to use and great at keeping food fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Seal a Meal because as a family of 6, buying in bulk is much cheaper than buying regular. When buying meats, it may not all get used at once and storing it for later use can sometimes be difficult. This product stores it in nice sealed bags for easy storage and keeps the meat fresher with less exposure to air. I love it!
