Wonderful Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food sealer is great. It worked just as advertised, quick and efficient. My only issue is that there were only four quart-sized packs included with the sealer. I used all of those during my first experience. I really expected there to be more, and in a variety of sizes. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product!

Not only is it easy to use, it has saved us a lot of money. We are Seniors living on a fixed income. Now instead of throwing out leftovers, we just seal them up! It tastes just like the day it was cooked Thank You TryIt Sampling and especially to FoodSaver!!

It great for packing fresh meat, meals, and other items and thing like crafts that you are going to come back and use or to keep things from drying out. Thanks for letting me try this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can say without a doubt that this Seal-a-Meal will save you money in the long run. With todays rising food prices, buying food on sale or in bulk and keeping them in the freezer is the only way to save money. But not storing them by vacuum sealing can result in freezer burn and lost/wasted food. I have used the food sealer on any meats, blueberries, fish, etc. The cost of the bag material may be a little pricey but the savings in your food not becoming freezer burnt and having to be tossed out offsets that cost. I highly recommend this product to everyone. For outdoorsy people who have deer to process and freeze, this is the only way to go!!
If your wanting to by groceries on sale and have the freezer space, do yourself a favor and purchase this product!!

I am loving using my Seal-A-Meal

This system keeps food fresh longer by removing air from specially designed bags and creates a secure, airtight seal so you can store food in refrigerator, freezer, and pantry for a longer period of time compared to non-vacuum storage methods. This has become such an important tool to help me preserve some food for my family to counteract some of the food shortages we have been seeing in the stores. It has become so much more for me to be able to preserve healthy foods for my family. I have found this to be the the most effective way to preserve both taste and nutrients. This is such an essential tool and I am just loving it.

Great product, bad directions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE that I now have a food save because I have been wanting one for years. It helps SO much with not wasting leftovers. Being in a household of only two, we always have leftovers, so the fact that we can just vacuum seal them and pop them in the fridge for later is genius! However giving 4 stars because I really struggled with the directions on how to get the vacuum sealer going and the drip tray. Still not sure if I did it right. Would be more user friendly to update the directions!
