Fantastic!

My puppy ate a rug (ya, not a smart pup, but so cute) so after vet care, he’s on a rice, chicken, veggie diet. So I bought 5 lbs of chicken and thought Yikes! How will I store this? Enter the food saver, best kitchen gadget ever! One chicken breast per bag, I can sous vide it, simmer it, microwave it in the bag! Tip; the instructions say to put the unsealed edge in the drip tray, nope, lay it about 1/2 way across the drip tray. Works great!

Great Sealer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very easy to use and small enough to store in my cupboard. I was surprised how much more I can store in my freezer by sealing my food rather than putting in freezer containers. It worked great for meat that I bought in bulk and divided into separate packages.

Keeps my frozen food fresher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using zip lock bags to store things in the freezer, especially when I buy a big pack of hamburger or chicken and I can never seem to get much of the air out of the bags. With this nice contraption, I can easily seal my food and get all of the air out for a nice, compact package with absolutely no air whatsoever. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this for New Year's Day leftovers. I was able to seal a few packets of ribs and wings for family to take home. I also used it to seal meals to put in my freezer. Works quickly to remove air and seal bags. I like that the instructions were very clear, easy to understand and came with pictures. This is now one of my favorite kitchen items.

Seal-A-Meal not bad for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little sealer is perfect for a average use sealing/freezing. If you are a serious seal and freeze person trying to fill a chest freezer you might want a more beefy one that can handle higher volume sealing. This model works perfect for the average home where sealing and freezing foods at a typical level. Remember, you get what you paid for. You should allow plenty of counter space when using just to make sure the machine functions as designed.

I will be using this regularly to help freeze meat. It feels expensive and long lasting, and as an added bonus, the size of it makes it convenient for storage.
