[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this food processor for several years. It works great for me. I do have a problem getting the lid on properly. Sometimes I have to try several times, but I know that is a safety issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the 12 cup processor for over 1 year. I love that it has so many different options to use-it makes food prep for me so nice-thanks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Easy Assembly: The “Stack & Snap” design is genuinely convenient. Unlike other food processors with complicated twisting and locking mechanisms, this one simply stacks and snaps into place. This makes it much easier to assemble and take apart for cleaning.
Large Capacity: With a 12-cup bowl, it handles big batches of ingredients effortlessly. Whether I’m making salsa, shredding cheese, or prepping vegetables for a large family meal, this processor can handle it all without needing to stop and empty the bowl frequently.
Powerful Motor: The 450-watt motor is powerful enough to chop, slice, shred, and puree a variety of ingredients efficiently. It handles tough jobs like shredding carrots or slicing potatoes smoothly, with consistent results.
Versatility: It comes with a reversible slicing/shredding disc and an S-blade for chopping, mixing, and pureeing. This covers most of the common tasks in the kitchen, making it a very versatile tool.
Built-In Bowl Scraper: A unique feature is the built-in bowl scraper, which ensures that ingredients stay close to the blades for more even results. This saves time and prevents the need to stop and scrape the sides manually.
Ease of Cleaning: The bowl, lid, and blades are all dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup easy. The processor also doesn’t have any complicated nooks and crannies that are hard to clean.
Cons: Plastic Build: While the plastic body keeps it lightweight, it doesn't feel as sturdy as some higher-end models. It’s durable enough for everyday use, but you need to handle it with some care.
Noise Level: Like most food processors, it can get quite loud, especially when processing harder ingredients. It’s not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning if noise is a concern for you.
Limited Blade Options: It comes with the basic blades and discs, but lacks additional attachments like dough blades or julienne discs, which could enhance its versatility.
Overall Impression: The Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Stack & Snap Food Processor is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and budget-friendly food processor. It’s perfect for everyday kitchen tasks and can handle large quantities of ingredients with ease. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of a premium model, it delivers solid performance and functionality at a fraction of the price. If you’re looking for a food processor that is straightforward, efficient, and offers great value, this one is a great pick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a very old and very beloved blender slicer that finally died. I didn't think I would be happy with a replacement but this unit has proven me wrong!
