Disappointing snooze Function

I had a previous model for many years and loved it until it stopped working. I bought the top of the line here, but its snooze function is too sensitive. It's supposed to snooze from touching the front of the lamp, but instead if I make any movement near my nightstand, it snoozes. Then I have to turn the radio back on. It's a neat feature, but it's more of an inconvenience now.
This is a great product; provides a very gentle wake-up. The only drawback is the control system... it is not intuitive nor easy to manage. Having said this, the gentle wake-up that this product provides is well worth the irritation of the control system.
beyond all expectations, cant live with out it now that i discovered it. im suprised not many know about natural light alarms.. i was in the dark as well!! Design looks just like in the pic, futuristic and sleek!
I could sense the light growing, coming out of a sleepy fog, then the music I chose began to play so softly. Definitely a delight and far more peaceful than some screaming noise in your ears shocking you awake. I'm up earlier than I usually am and my goal is to train my body to wake earlier and earlier every day. Thank you Phillips. This is a god-send for me.
Pros: gentle waking, warm light
Cons: snooze isn't really easy, tiny buttons on face are clumsy
I was a bit skeptical at first based on some of the reviews, particularly the ease of use. Many people complained about the buttons, etc, but I found that once I knew, after the first time using, where everything was...VERY easy! I have room darkening blinds so even on weekends when I get to sleep in...the light doesn't really wake me. This Wake-Up Light works perfect and sometimes I have to wonder whether it's the REAL-LIVE birds chirping or my light! :) Thank you Philips...love it!
I purchased this item to help with waking in the morning during our endless New England Winters, I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the menu and function key design. The shape of the piece is fine, a bit Si Fi, but that's okay. The menu selections at the bottom along the curve are a bit sketchy and yes, I admit it rather difficult to configure to my specifications. I have everything pretty much figured out, but it was a project to do so. The button functions at the top of the piece follow the curve from left to right and you will need to memorize where each one is, or you will have to turn on a light every time you want to change something. The only feature I use once in bed for the night is the reverse light, the light turns on at it's brightest and slowly sets like the sun until it shuts itself off, a nice touch. I am pleased overall, would I like something a bit more user friendly, yes, but worth the trouble in the end.
Pros: love the sunlight feature, great with the radio too
Cons: difficult to set up menu options, difficult to handle and not hit menu buttons
