Love this product -- just keeping my fingers crossed that it will actually last 20 years as advertised. It's a replacement for an earlier model whose light burned out. Very very helpful getting out of bed on dark winter mornings.

I have only had the Wake-up light for perhaps a month, so I don't know how durable it will be. But it has a quality look and feel, is easy to use, and works well. I use it every night to read by, and it wakes me gently

Really makes it easier!

I recommend this product for anyone who needs to wake up early. Waking-up with this product feels much more natural than an alarm clock and by the time the light is on full I'm always ready to get out of bed. I've never felt the need to hit snooze in my 2-months with this product.

Ça marche très bien pour moi. Réveille très doux et naturel. Pu de réveilles forcés, comateux ou de besoin de snoozer.
Pros: réveille doux et efficace, lumière rougeâtre à basse intensité, choix de sons naturel ou radio
Cons: boutons sur le dessus petits et difficiles à voir

The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me!

I live in an area where a sunny morning can be in short-supply for almost half the year. My mornings have dramatically improved. I function better and have more energy during the day. The tap-snooze removes the sound but doesn't turn off the light, which is excellent-- I can't turn it off by accident! The numbers dim at night, removing that red glare most alarm clocks put off. Two different alarms means not having to toggle a work alarm constantly. The symbols are crystal-clear and easy to navigate.
Definitely suggesting it to everyone I know!

Good Light...Bad Features!

I love the colored light progression but for the price, this clock should do much more than that! I diligently used this clock for an entire month and then sent it back because it was very frustrating. First, it has no battery backup so when the power went out, so did the alarm clock. A battery backup is necessary and its a primary design in every cheap alarm clock that one can buy...but not in this expensive model. Second, the snooze will only turn off the sound but not the light...not a snooze at all. One is supposed to be able to touch the face of the light to go into snooze mode, but that is only if the sound is playing and even with that, the light stays on. Ugh! Third, the digital clock display only dims but does not allow one to turn it off at night so that it has a dark face. Again, this should be included in a clock that costs this much. And finally, the base is too narrow so the light tips over easily. When you are sleepy and trying to turn it off and it rolls around, it is very frustrating, but I have to admit...that frustration would get me out of bed. This clock caused nothing but grief so I sent it back. On the positive side, the light is perfect for reading at night and the progression in the morning is very gentle and works well. If Phillips fixes these basic problems, I will gladly buy this alarm clock again for the existing price or even greater. Until then, I've bought a different brand at a lower price that does all these things except...their progression light is not as good. Hmm...!? Please Phillips, read this review and upgrade this model and I will be the first to buy it.

Best alarm clock for a great lifestyle

I am not a morning person, but waking up with this alarm clock makes getting out of bed just a little bit easier! It's easy to use, works beautifully, and also functions as an excellent bedside lamp! The sounds are great and I love how customizable it is. A great buy!
