Easy install, affordable and a solid lock. The only drawback is I wish they would add Z-Wave to it, you have to buy the more expensive lock for that. Either way, great lock for the money, much better than the comparable Schlage. I had one of those previously and it was junk. Buy the Yale.

The device is pretty good. I like how much smaller it is then the original but there is functionality that is really bad now. The wifi is SLOW, and the google home integration is really bad. When I open google home to lock or unlock my door it take 30 second to a minute for the button to even be ready for me to push. After I click on the lock to lock the door its a crap shoot whether or not it actually happens. Its spins it wheels for a long time and sometimes it locks and sometimes doesn't. Also my lock used to be able to disable my nest secure security system when I unlock the door, that functionality no longer exists. Luckily the yale app works for unlocking and the auto unlock work well.

I purchased this smart lock with the purpose of controlling it via HomeKit. A majority of the time it’s not responding in the Home app which makes it near unusable with custom automations to lock/unlock. It seems to work fine in the Yale Access app, but I wanted a smart lock, not a lock that requires manual interaction. I have two Nest smart locks that were also developed by Yale, but clearly those locks have better software support and never have a problem with not responding in the Nest app. It’s possible the network connectivity could be improved with a Yale Connect, but the company makes it impossible to buy one without it being included with something I don’t need.

Never was able to get the lock to work after installation. Directions both on paper and on You Tube were in conflict with the working of the lock. Was not able to set up master code or individual entry code. Reinstalled my Yale/Nest lock which works great.
