I've had the grill for a year now. I've used it more than any other grill I've ever had. No flareups at all. Steaks, chicken, rotisserie, burgers, veggies.....everything I've cooked has been great.
Have had my Napoleon barbeque for two years now. I always use the infra red searing grill first to sear the meat. The main barbeque gets really hot as well. (Over 500 degrees). Is easy to maintain and by far the best barbeque I have ever owned.
I bought my Napoleon pro500rsib-1 over a year ago. I replaced my Ducane grill with the Napoleon. The, "Made in America", Ducane grill I had came with a lifetime warranty which lasted until Ducane went bankrupt and was taken over by Weber. I am amazed at how efficient the Napoleon is, especially how well it performs in cold weather. Controlling temperature is far better than the Ducane. The bullet-proof Napoleon cover is greatly appreciated. On the Ducane vinyl cover, the inside cotton lining was stripped by birds and squirrels for their nests. Not so with the Napoleon cover.

I bought the BBQ last year and have been enjoying cooking on it ever since. There are so many good features on the grill. The temperature control is amazing. You set the grill at 425 and it will stay at 425 until you decide to change it.
I replaced a 10 year old Weber Summit with this bbq, and have no regrets at all. I wanted to support a Canadian company with a superior product and my PRO500RSIB made the cut. Only criticism is that it sometimes does not heat up quick and likes to go thru propane.
