I have had my Napoleon Grill for almost 10 years. I do take care of it and try and keep it clean....and it always works great. I have not had any problems. I do keep a cover on it when not in use. I recently ordered some parts that were under warranty and the process was simple and easy!
I'm very happy with my new Napoleon grill. It's built like a tank, heats up quickly and evenly, and is very versatile. Steaks come out perfect and the rotisserie chicken I make each week is amazing. I strongly recommend the legacy Prestige Pro 500.
The front doors are not hanging straight…the lighted knobs do not turn off…somewhat disappointed

Hi Mike, thank you for your feedback on your PRO500RSIBPSS-3. We're sorry to hear you're disappointed with your grill. The Pro Series is well-built but the price is high for what you get. Upgraded stainless steel components are nice. The interior light is great. Other lighting features are just decoration. It plugs into the wall, which is also convenient, but they should provide a cord to do that, for the price that you pay. The infrared side burner is great for searing steaks, although the igniter did not work initially. I had to contact Napoleon support and that was an adventure getting through to speak to someone about it. Once I was able to reach a human, they were very helpful. All in all, I would still buy a Napoleon, but would not spend the extra for the Pro series. I'd stick with the Prestige.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you're enjoying many of the features of your Prestige PRO® 500, including the stainless-steel construction, interior lighting, and infrared side burner. That said, we're sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with the side burner igniter and found it difficult to reach our support team. While we're glad our team was able to assist once connected, we understand that getting help should be easier. We appreciate your candid comments regarding the value of the PRO series compared to the Prestige series. Customer feedback like yours helps us better understand which features are most important to our customers and where we can continue to improve. Thank you for choosing Napoleon and taking the time to share your thoughts!
I’m totally impressed with this grill. For the last 22 years I’ve been using a ceramic briquet style gas grill. My new Napoleon is far better! Cooks more like a charcoal bbq. Nice and hot when I want to sear and low on the other side. Drippings may flame up but they are far down and only lick the meat. Not the big fires as before. I was a sceptic before this purchase and now I’m a convert.
Just assembled this worst grill in history. Completely overrated. The left sheer burner won't even start without a match. The ignition won't even start it.
Returned this basic, overpriced bbq, like any smart person would.

Hi there, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. That’s definitely not what we want for our customers. If the SIZZLE ZONE™ side burner isn’t igniting properly, it may be related to the simple ignition electrode position. Since you’ve already chosen to return the grill, we understand your decision and appreciate you giving Napoleon a try. If you ever decide to give us another chance, our team would be happy to help ensure everything is working properly right from the start. Thank you again for your feedback. It’s important to us as we continue to improve.
Pro 500 good grill but too much air loss in the hood design makes it impossible to control flare ups by cutting air supply.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying your Prestige PRO™ 500 overall, but we’re sorry to hear about the flare-up control concerns. We understand how frustrating that can be when trying to manage heat during cooking. Airflow in the hood is designed to support proper combustion and consistent performance, but excessive flare-ups can sometimes be related to grease buildup, high-fat foods, or cooking at higher temperatures. Ensuring the sear plates are clean and properly positioned can help improve heat control and reduce flare-ups. If you’re finding that this issue persists, we’d be happy to take a closer look with you. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Solutions team with your model and serial number so we can assist further. We appreciate you sharing your experience and are here to help you get the best performance from your grill. Happy grilling!
