Really a great grill

Our Vermont Castings grill died on us, and we replaced twitch this grill.
I love the quality, and I feel so "with it" when I grill in the dark with the lights on (and a glass of merlot in one hand).
I hate the twice yearly deep cleaning, but it works, and it maintains this expense purchase.

Too many gadgets??

After 20 years with two Weber Summit grills I opted for the Napoleon Prestige 500 and while the fancy lights were not the selling feature they were a nice addition. Happy to have it home and eager to grill it does a great job. ONE week later one of the lit control knobs has gone out. Sure this is covered by warranty but after one week?!?! What happens after the warranty expires? This is not a cheap grill.

Best grill ever

I've been grilling over 50 years and have had many grills in that time. Moved to a new house and could have natural gas piped for a grill so new house, new grill. I had a major brand grill and while it was a very good grill, this is even better.
The color knobs will prevent leaving a burner on after cooking. That has happened when in a hurry getting everything to the table and having a burner on low.
Heat control is good, rotisserie can hold a couple of chickens or a huge rib eye roast. I love using the infrared burner for things like that.
Assembly took a few hours and help was needed at times. Packing kept everything secure and no damage.

BBQ Purchase - WHAT AN UPGRADE!!!

I upgraded my 15 year old Napoleon BBQ to a new PRO500RSIBPSS-2 and WOW, what a BBQ! If you have not had the experience of cooking on a Napoleon BBQ, then you better make it a New Years resolution. Tons of features like soft closing doors, interior lights, jet fire ignition, night light control knobs (blue when off and red when the burner is on). And the deal breaker, the infrared sizzle zone side burner, it's a MUST experience! Looking forward to another 15 year plus with this unit. Thanks Napoleon!!

I bought my grill this past summer. I have only ever owned Napoelon and would never consider a different type of grill. Great quality, all parts present, easy to follow instructions and built to last for years with many great features like the lights and control panel.
