Best darn grill I have ever own…so I bought another for my beach house. Done it all on this grill, seared, rotisserie smoked and grilled…10 out of 10 so far. I live in a salt water community, last grill The Big W, only lasted 4 year before it rusted out. Hope this one lasts longer….
Napoleon is known for quality and the Prestige Pro 500 does not disappoint. It is the perfect size for the majority of backyard grill wizards. 3 beers was the total assembly time once the box was opened. No complaints after multiple uses.
My Prestige Pro 500 purchased from Appliance Canada was my first new BBQ in 25 years. While my previous BBQ served me well it was seriously outdated compared to the Prestige. Improvements in materials, burner efficiency and design were well worth the purchase. I use my BBQ year round in Canada and the Prestige cooks perfectly in all weather. If you are looking for a new BBQ do your research the Napoleon Prestige 500 should meet all your expectations.
Doesn't get or stay hot in cold weather. Insulation poor.

Very disappointed. Bought this last year. Works "okay" in the summer, but doesn't get or stay hot enough in the winter. Heat insulation very poor. As a result food does not cook properly and takes much longer than it should. Had a different well-known brand before this one. Never had this issue even in dead of winter. Other brand worth the extra money. Wish I'd known.

Hi! We are sorry that the PRO500RSIBPSS-3 has not fully met your expectations. Thank you for sharing your experience so we can improve. This experience doesn’t align with the high service standards we hold ourselves to. You might need to move the grill's position if you are getting excessive wind in the winter months. You can also use a wind deflector on the back hood of the grill, reach out to our Customer Support Team. Thanks
I have never owned a grill that cooks evenly and rarely flares up. We use the rotisserie very often. We even make pizza using a stone and the rear burner... Awesome grill.
Still getting familiar with it, but it's very nice. A better mounting system for the light switch would be an improvement. Also, a way to ignite it without plugging it in would be nice.
Love my new Prestige Pro 500 RSIB Napoleon Grill. Heats so quickly, and evenly. Haven't tried the rotisserie or infrared burner yet as it's still winter here. Should give the infrared burner a good test with some nice steaks this week. Really like the lights both internal, for when I went to remove food, as well as the knobs and ground effects. Also like the thick burner grates !
