Easy to install but eats batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smoke detector is very easy to install...even though we did it a little crooked as you can see by the picture.
It uses batteries which can be good or bad. It is good because we did not have to mess with wires or electricity. It is bad because you have to keep buying two batteries or use rechargeable ones.
The app took some work to connect but everything is easy once that is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a good idea that ring has. This is a double a batteries. If you are not going to plug it in the electricity. You will have to get a subscription to ring if you don’t have it. The app is easy to use.

Installation was simple and the setup process was quick and straightforward. I really appreciate how modern and convenient it feels compared to older alarms.
One of the best features is the Wi-Fi connectivity which makes it easy to manage and check the alarm from my phone. It adds an extra level of peace of mind knowing I can monitor things more easily and stay informed. The design is sleek and blends nicely into my ceiling without looking bulky.

Can’t beat peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great! I love that it uses the Ring app as that integrates well with other home items we utilize. Installation and setup was very easy. I liked that it was easy to mount wherever we wanted and it’s easy to move if desired-it’s about the same size as a standard smoke detector but does HAVE to mount to the ceiling. I felt that it responds fairly well and it is not overtly disruptive. The battery is easy to change and upkeep. Overall I love the extra piece of mind it gives me even when I’m not home

It’s easy to maintain and use in homes, kitchen. Since it has App connectivity, it’s easier to monitor the status of the device at convenience. Rightly priced and durable product. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a reliable smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector. It is easy to use and install. You will be alerted through the ring app even when you are away from home. I feel so much better having it and knowing if something were to happen while away. It does need double A batteries. It is accurate and will preform better than regular smoke alarms.

It does not require other ring devices but I already have some at home so I love that I can add this to my ring and am able to get alerts to my phone, this is great for when I’m not home or on vacation. I love that I can see 24/7 the status of the smoke alarm and carbon monoxide monitoring. Also love that it just takes AA batteries! This is really great to feel even safer than before!

Keeping My Family Safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Kidde smoke detectors but this is my first time using a smart smoke alarm and definitely won't be my last. The installation of the Kidde Ring Smart Smoke Alarm was fast and easy. I really like how it is battery operated so I don't have to deal with electricity. I love the smart features and how I can get real time alerts on my Ring app. This keeps my family, dogs, and home safe while I am away. There is also a voice alert which will tell me why the alarm is going off. Also, if I install more Kidde compatible alarms in my home when one goes off they all do. The only thing I feel could be improved was how it was packaged. The Kidde alarm box was in a larger box with no type of padding around it. As far as the alarm is concerned I could not be happier!
