Handy smart smoke alarm with carbon monoxide!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product definitely meet my expectations after having it be installed. At first I have to say it was challenging due to the instructions being kind of confusing. However afterwards when its set up its perfect! I love that it is linked to my ring app. If you have ring app ypu don't pay the extra fee per month like it tells you, this service is already included. I feel betteraboit having this be installed in my house and being vacation. Stress less about what is happening at home with this product.

Good Technology / Difficult to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KIDDE Smart Smoke + Carbon Monoxide Alarm RGCUDR-RW: Valuable device for home safety with remote monitor App and performs as advertised. I would not recommend this device for some people because 1.) it requires complex multi-step technical set-up process, 2.) it has a 40-page User Guide with very small print, 3.) the LED blinking in set-up mode is frustrating, 4.) it requires the User Guide to interpret operating and fault codes.
Most disturbing were the instructions to mount the device 12" below the ceiling, and to use the provided dust cover when dusting/cleaning the room.
In a typical house with 8' to 14'ceilings, pushing the multifunctional test / silence button, & /or
using the dust cover, is impossible to accomplish without using a ladder.
I received this item at no cost thru Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

Nice Upgrade

I also had a Kiddie smoke alarm that was long due to be replaced and was happy to upgrade with this one. It has the nice bonus that it is a CO monitor as well. And I love the WifI connectivity feature as well.

Easy to Install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven’t had any use for the fire alarm yet (which I am very thankful for) but can speak for installation - super easy! I installed in the hallway between the kitchen and garage. Was really easy to install and connect on my phone. I already have a few of this brand’s alarm in my house that don’t have the connection to the app so I’m thinking of replacing those as well! Definitely recommend if you need to replace your fire alarms!

Easy simple power smoke detector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart smoke alarm from Kidde is a complete relief. It is easy to operate and comfortable with my ring system. When it detects smells of smoke it alert me through my ring app. Installation is very simple and doesn't require experience. All instructions are in the box. Looks small and fits any place in the home.

Complete peace of mind!

I like the fact that I’m able to check the status by simply viewing the app. I had zero issues connecting to our WiFi and was quickly responsive. I recommend adding several of these to your home. Your family deserves it.
