On my 3rd machine in 6 months and while I love the machine itself it has not been reliable and the last replacement i was sent thankfully at no cost to me however was not the exact same model I paid extra for at purchase (not the same color and didn't have the larger brew options )

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your experience with your Single-Serve Coffee Maker.
While we're happy to hear that you love your coffee maker, we completely understand how frustrating and disappointing it must be to be on your third machine in just six months. We can also appreciate your concern that the replacement unit, while provided at no cost, was not the exact model you originally purchased.
Your feedback regarding product reliability and replacement consistency is important to us, and we'll be sure to share your comments with the appropriate team.
I had been searching for the perfect coffee maker for quite some time, and my girlfriend completely nailed it by gifting me the Ninja Pods and Grounds. I’ve been using it daily and absolutely love it! Working from home, versatility is key for me. I enjoy taking my time with a fresh cup in the morning, but during busy afternoons, I just need a quick coffee fix. Being able to step away from my computer, pop in pod, press a button and walk back a moment later to a ready cup makes my day so much easier. She got me the black version, which looks sleek and matches our kitchen decor perfectly. The capacity and set up are ideal. Normally, I’m the only coffee drinker at home, but when my mom comes over to visit, it’s super easy to brew cups for both of us so we can catch up over a warm drink.

Mold!

Multiple complaints about this machine with the most important thing being mold in my coffee. I have taken apart and cleaned everything that will come apart, and there are still pieces/flakes of mold in my coffee. I leave it open after brewing. I take out the filter and the pod holder, wash them and let them air dry. Coffee spills over into the filter basket and will mold if you don’t clean everything. I have to run a whole container of water through the machine trying to get water without mold in it before I can even make a cup of coffee. And when I do make a cup, it is watered down. Definitely not worth the money I paid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for your review.
We're sincerely sorry to hear you're finding mold in your coffee and experiencing coffee spilling into the filter basket. We can understand how disappointing that is when you're regularly cleaning the machine. We'd love to look into both the mold and spilling concerns. Please complete the steps under "My coffee maker is leaking or overflowing" in the guide below. Once finished, you'll receive a case reference number via email. Give us a call on 1-877-581-7375 with that reference number, along with a few photos or a short video showing the mold concern, and we'll take it from there, including reviewing your warranty options for any replacement if needed.
The coffee maker meets all my expectations. My previous model did not have the convenient, fold-away frothing feature like the newer model. The slim design has a smaller footprint that most of my brewers, it allows for easy storage, taking up less space. Complete with a drawer for K-Cup and ground coffee adapters and an attached measuring spoon, detailing recommended amount per ounce, this coffee maker earns top marks. The versatility of the unit allows me to either use ground coffee or the easy to use (but a little pricey) K-Cups. I love the pre-brewing settings (size and coffee strength) especially "rich," "over ice," and "specialty 4oz," which permits me to have consistent extractions and great tasting coffee each brew. From preheat to brew is quick. The only drawback is that, like most coffee makers, it is made of cheap plastic.
I've only had this machine for a few weeks, but I am disappointed with it so far. Have tried multiple brands of coffee (including the one I have been drinking for years) and the coffee is strong and bitter even on the "classic" setting. If you like strong coffee, you might love it.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We understand how disappointing it is when your Ninja Single-Serve doesn't brew coffee the way you expect, especially when you've tried multiple coffee brands and are still finding the flavor too strong and bitter.
If your coffee tastes strong and bitter even on the Classic setting, try using a medium-coarse grind, as finely ground coffee can lead to over-extraction and bitterness. You can also try reducing the amount of coffee used per brew, as the Ninja Smart Scoop is designed to help with precise measurements and may help you achieve a milder flavor profile. If you have any further concerns or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to us through the link below. https://support.sharkninja.com/contact-us
Consistently makes a delicious cup of coffee. I stumbled on a brand of K cups that I love, and this coffee maker extracts the best flavor from my coffee. I've had two other brands of K-cup brewers (Cuisinart and Keurig) and this one is my favorite.
This is so simple to use! I bought it to keep at the office for a quick cup of coffee. The coffee comes out perfectly compared to other brands that are more watered down for K-cups. My office is pretty split on kcups vs grounds but either way, it is very easy to clean.

My morning go-to

This gets a lot of use in our house! I love having an easy way to make coffee at home, and the built in frother makes it especially convenient when I want something that feels a little more like a coffee shop drink. It's become part of my regular morning routine.
