Cameras up for a week and all is good. Took two hours to install 4 cameras and solar panels.

Do not buy! Cameras do not pick up active vehicles or people but sometimes bugs , snow, or rain. Worthless for our church security.

So in the add they say it's wireless. That it uses wifi to send the video signals back to this "Home Base" I asked if the "Home Base had it's own built-in router. No one at their company would answer my question. It was like they had no idea what I was talking about. I went back and fourth with them for like 6 emails, couldn't get an answer out of them. So a few weeks go by, my car is stolen right out of my drive way, None of the other camera systems I looked at had the features I was looking for. So I bought their cameras out of frustration.
They don't record video as detail as you would like. They say the home base has 32GB of storage which hold 90 days of footage. I asked how do you fit 90 days of footage in only 32GB. No one would answer me. I'm a digital video expert so that was really important to me. They say the cameras record at 2k resolution. Looking at the footage on my home base, it looks like 480i at 5 frames per second. That's how they record 20 days of footage for 4 cameras on 32GB. Also it only records when there is movement. It only senses movement if the movement is within 25 feet of the camera. A number of times people did things on our property 30 feet from the camera and the camera didn't record any of it. Also it misses the first 2.5 seconds of movement. If someone runs across the cams view, it wont record it. I'm not sure it would be effective in catching anyone on camera. A wired system with a 4TB storage on a 10 day loop would be much more effective. Record solid 9MBps 2k resolution at 12fps, that will allow facial recognition.
Also it doesn't have it's own router. You have to piggy back it onto your home wireless network. And then view and control it through their phone internet app. This uses a lot of band width, although I thought it would use a lot more. (assuming they were recording in a higher video quality).

i got 2 sets of the 4 solar cameras system, the system exceed my expectations, the quality is very very good and the storage is plenty, it still haven't got to 1/4 capacity. items came very fast, so glad i had made the purchase.

Aosu cameras are really good. We are in love with our front and back cameras with solar light. We also purchased 2 different model auso cameras to be installed indoor ,which requires SD card. I would definitely go for this with solar light and inbuilt memory over those models with SD card(picture and videos are dark). Fir some reason, one of this 2 cameras stopped working recently (after about a year).we were unable to update firmware. We reached Aosu support and received the response within 24 hrs. With in 5 days we received replacement. I haven鈥檛 installed the new piece yet. But I believe it would not give any trouble.
Easy setup, connectivity, night vision,value for money, wonderful features.
