Tank size is inadequate; only six ounces! I have to keep refilling this tank a number of times in order to completely clean my gums. Too bad this tank isn't sized larger. Other than that, I really like using my WaterPik.
I purchased for travel since I’m gone for a week at a time every month. It’s convenient, but I don’t find the water pressure to be as good as the home unit. The nozzle does not twist, so you need to change the way you hold it for use. The waterproofing is great! The battery lasts a long time. You need to keep filling it up with water during use. For me it is 4 times.
It works pretty well. It has three speeds but medium or high work best and I’m finding that high is better. It’s not all that powerful. The on/off button is close to the level intensity button so there are times when you think you’re shutting off but water sprays everywhere. I think they should be farther apart from each other. The nozzles are good and it came with various types.
My only disappointment is that the 3 pressure levels seem rather weak compared to a previous device I had of a different brand. The volume capacity is also somewhat less, but I don't find that a problem as it is easy to refill. Good variety of tips.
I thought I was just getting something because my dental hygienist recommended it. I thought Ok it might help get something cleaner around my teeth? To my surprise it was totally awesome and an eye opening experience to just see how much left over food remained in my mouth that I had no idea was there! It got trapped food out from between my teeth that even flossing and a toothbrush missed. Now I wish I had been using one all my life. I purchased the travel version so I could take it with me when I travel 20-26 times per year on cruises and take road trips in addition to that. The battery will last over 2 weeks per charge when I take my trips. I never knew just how essential it has now become and I absolutely love it and will NEVER be without a Waterpik from now on.
