Does a great job

I owned a Roborock E2 for 2.5 years and upgraded to this Q5 recently. I have to say it’s definitely worth it to get a lidar vacuum as navigation system and mapping feature are much better. At first, I couldn’t figure out how to empty the dust container because it is different from my old vacuum. Finally I realized that you can remove the filter to open it. Except that I have no problems during use.

I am completely satisfied with the vacuum robot.
The suction power is great.
The robot proceeds systematically and intelligently and is constantly learning.
You can choose areas in the map that should be explicitly sucked, or not sucked at all.

Brilliant so far!

I have had a little time to see how this vacuum performs in a number of situations. There are some good updates, this is a really great robot vacuum with tons of great features. This robot is an upgraded S4Max. The suction of it is 2700Pa, which is better than the robot S4Max, and can clean our room better. The volume of the dust bin is also larger and it is compatible with the Auto Empty Dock Pure, which offers automatic dust collection and holds up to 7-weeks* of dust, I want to purchase one, so I do not need clean the dust bin frequently. 3D Mapping is also very awesome, I can view my home in 3D and add furniture and floor materials. So far it’s been great glad to have it!

The Roborock Q5 robot is super gentle with furnishings. It marks larger objects like doors, cupboards, table legs etc. on the map and avoids them during its cleaning trip.

We planned to replace our old vacuum recently. After doing some research we finally brought this Roborock Q5 because of the features it provided at this price level.
It does everything it promises. The fast mapping is a great improvement as it does create the map in a short time. Awesome navigation, powerful suction, no go zone, room cleaning, schedules, Alexa integration...all works great!
It can complete its job without any involvement by human. The family already fell in love with this smart vacuum. I guess I will buy the self-emptying base soon to release us from emptying the dust container regularly. Highly recommend it
