Great Sound

We have other JBL speakers - Charge 3 and a Pulse 3 both are outstanding.
The Pulse 3 got knock off the refrigerator and other than some scuffs none the worse for wear, great speaker.

my wife and I loved the charge 3! It wasn't overwhelmingly large and put out some great sound. We listen to everything from music to podcasts, took them on trips and used them as our mini theater system with our laptop! Love them. But after about 3 years of constant and hard abuse they started to give out. We both work in kitchens... our speakers took some hard hours in rough environments. Mine took several dives onto tile from 8 or more feet. Time came to replace and we went straight for the charge 4! The sound great. Not sure I can tell much of a difference without them side by side. The 4 might have a little more bass than the 3, is probably slightly bigger and heavier. I am excited that the 4 has type c! That was huge! I don't have to carry 2 separate cables anymore.
My ONLY legitimate complaint... they didn't come with a brick. I recognize that most households probably have a couple spare, but given the price point... i would have rather sacrificed some of the flashy packaging (which just gets discarded anyway) for a brick. The cable could have been longer as well... but 3ft is justifiable. Some of the colors feel a bit muted... but i feel like thats 100% subjective!

My husband loves it and uses it everyday. Especially loves the camo design . The fact that it's waterproof and a charger for your phone are awesome too. Also it's very loud

My friend brought her JBL charge 4 over my house for outdoor get togethers all the time and I loved it! Finally got one for myself and I’m so happy I did! Great for bon fires, boat trips, hiking, and much more!! 10/10 would buy again and recommend everybody who needs a water resistant, loud, portable speaker gets one ASAP!
