New sound for my old VW

Just got this a week ago, couldn't find the sony I wanted and decided to try this JBL, definitely a good choice. Solid sound quality and volume, just wish the base was more flat.

Extremely disappointed

I bought this product 2 weeks ago and am extremely disappointed with it. It lasted one trip on the paddle board and no longer functions. We were left without music for the rest of the camping trip. I'd hardly say this product is water proof.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
