The speaker is LESS THAN ONE MONTH OLD & turns off randomly. Extremely frustrating and UNACCEPTABLE. Seems to be a definite JBL problem as a Google search reveals its endemic to the speakerrrrrrrrrrrrr. C'mon JBL please fix this
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great speaker, very good sound quality!

I bought this product as a Desktop speaker,I do not use bluetooth and connect using direct cable, you can also use the bluetooth and take the speaker with you anywhere...
used it for 2 months and bought refurbished

MISSING parts

The only thing in the box was the speaker...no charger, no instruction manual...

Just updated to JBL after having a string of bad purchases. Decided to invest, because you really do get what you pay for. I'm super stoked I did. The sound quality is superb, rich and luscious.

Great Sound and Battery Life

I purchased one about a year ago while on vacation when I forgot my Bose sound dock at home. After listening to the Charge 4 for hours through just a Bluetooth connection to my iPod, I was blown away at the full sound and decent bass from it. When I go away now, the sound dock stays at home and the Charge 4 goes with me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Legit waterproof

Dropped this bad boy in about 5ft of the gorgeous Current River of Missouri. It was under for every bit of 15mins, while I looked for it. And it worked immediately after pulling it out of the water. It’s a tough speaker, best on the market. JBL IS THE BRAND. Has been for years. Make the right choice and grab this if you swim.
I would recommend this to a friend!
