Great sound. Horrible battery.

I bought this after reading all the great reviews. I absolutely love the sound quality. Songs are crisp sounding with great bass for such a small device; however, the battery life is horrendous. They say up to 20 hrs of battery life but I barely make it 6 hrs. I understand that the volume level does affect the battery life but I’m not even getting a third of what the specs claim.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This isn't normal for our JBL Charge 4 to have a battery life of 6 hours out of the 20 hrs as advertised. Awesome Speaker

I had a Sony speaker and it gave out so I was looking for a new speaker with a long battery life and good bass. I did a lot of research for the best quality speaker for the money and JBL topped most of the charts. I ended up choosing the JBL Charge 4 and I am very happy with my purchase. I took it to the beach and it lasted the whole day at a high volume. The sound quality is great. I have already been recommending this speaker to friends and family.

The custom design and colors were even better than I expected. Only negative is that it will not pair with our JBL charge 3.
