It takes years to get this thing fully charged and when its not fully charged the batter dies within minutes. i can connect while its charging but it dies within seconds even while its charging. I would never recommend this even to my greatest enemy.

We're sorry to hear about what happened. It could be as simple as a bad USB charging cable. If you have other charging cables, give them a try. (Be sure that the cable has the same type of connector as the original one that came with your product.). Same for the charger- if your product charges by USB, try a different USB charger. Be sure that it is rated at least 2A output. You may also try the troubleshooting steps on our support page article titled "Battery and Charging Issues". https://bit.ly/2T1BMuX
I gifted my daughter a record player for Christmas, I didn’t know it needed a Bluetooth speaker. I went online that same night and uploaded some original artwork to customize a speaker for her. The speaker arrived within a couple of days and it is beautiful!! She was so happy and when posted on her Instagram she was asked by many where she purchased from.
I recently purchased customized version after having the charge 3 …it is bigger great trebble not as much bass ….but same great quality speaker and sound …it has no wall plug this time only C cable….Luv it…thumbs up
We bought this for my son. It worked great the first time he used it and then it stopped charging. We are returning it for a replacement since it is under warranty, so we'll see if the new one holds up. The return process was very easy which was good.

I enjoyed the Charge 3 for four years or so before it quit on me. Purchased a competitor’s speaker that only lasted a little over a year (my mistake) so I decided to go back to JBL. So glad I did! The Charge 4 is very well made and sounds even better than my old Charge 3. Will continue to support and purchase JBL products.
