Good overall sound for such a small package

Pleasantly surprised. I like big sound. It does not provide the big bass outdoors, but it fills the room adequately inside. I have the Boombox that fills the need for the outdoors. The sound quality of the Charge 4 is really clear with good mids and highs. It is actually a little too loud at night on the lowest volume setting when trying to go to sleep — NOT a problem at all because I just use the iPhone speakers. I have 2 old Xtremes. I was considering getting an Xtreme 2 to complete my connect + pairings, but I will get another Charge 4 instead (though I don’t really need it). Now the old Xtremes serve me little purpose - that absolute SUCK JBL.

I bought this about a mounts ago to have a mid sized portable speaker. This thing sound so good, but it could be louder. But I wish there was like a better way to carry it.

Excellent sound, beautiful and friendly design, spectacular color, the only bad thing is that it does not come with the power head.

Wonderful solo on-the-go speaker

The speaker checks all the boxes for a take with me party speaker. Great that it connects to as many JBL connect speakers as I can find. Up to 100 makes the mind wander. Allowing two phones to connect at once is really nice. As a solo, I may be wanting more clarity on the crystal high tones. I understand for quality perhaps is why I must have an identical speaker to make a stereo pairing, but it would be nice to allow any device into a stereo pair. Waterproof is peace of mind.

I barely got my charge 4, and so far, I’m 85% satisfied with it. I can hear static noise every time I only press the volume “up” button. Expected it be louder than charge 3.
