Waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly surprised by this clear incredible sound from this small package. The speaker is enclosed for the waterproofing and it is a great size to carry to the beach or the pool. Sound is clear full and more bass than expected. Also you can link it to other JBL speakers.

Great sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received the JBL Charge 4 earlier today and unboxed it (such nice packaging) and hooked it up to my laptop with the USB charging cable it comes with to charge it up (it has 5 lights on the bottom that lets you know the battery level). I then paired it with my laptop's bluetooth and also with my Samsung Android phone using the JBL connect app and I have to say so far I'm very impressed with this little thing. I've gone through a bunch of different tracks.. rock, pop, great sounding tracks, poor sounding low fi tracks and everything I play through it sounds so full with a nice little punchy bass and great musical stereo effect. It sounds incredible. It is very enjoyable and pleasant to listen to. It sounds like the music is coming from something much bigger than what it is. I don't know how they do that. And the sound seems to actually be improving.. I guess the speakers are starting to break in...it's just getting better and better.
To be honest, for me it's all about the sound quality. The other stuff is great... it has a little phone USB port in the back so you can charge your phone and the battery lasts super long.. I still haven't gotten to the end of a charge yet playing with it for a good part of the day.. and it's also basically waterproof for a half hour.. but I'd still rate this 5 stars even if it didn't offer these other features because the sound quality is so great. I really love it and I also really like the size and weight... definitely portable and just a fine looking electronic device.. I will definitely be putting it to good use. Thank you JBL!

Excelent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality is a lot better than the JBL Charge 3. At low volume and high volume, the sound is excellent. The design is very good, and it has great battery life. It is a little bit bigger than the Charge 3.

Awesome sound

I bought this right after Christmas. I needed a new portable speaker and the charge 4 doesn’t disappoint. Easy set up to my phone and the sound is really good. Can’t wait to take it to the beach during the summer.

The bass could be a little deeper for outdoors but indoors sounds terrific! A must buy and quite honestly second to none for speakers it's size!

Have had this speaker for about a month now and have had no problems. I use it on the roof where I work and all my coworkers compliment me on the speaker and also want one. I’ve never had a problem with it dying quickly and the sound is fantastic.
