Got this for my brother as a Christmas present, he instantly turned it on to play music and hasn't stopped yet. Also the fact that its a charger is a super plus. Very loud and clear sound

Great sounding with full bass

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. We have both been pleased with the performance and sound quality of the Charge 4. The bass and clarity of the speaker is very good. As a bonus, it was a great sale price.

Ordered the JBL charge 4 as a Christmas gift. First of all the device won’t even stay on unless you physically hold the power down at all times. Second the sound quality is complete trash. The crackle is insane when barely turned up. Do better JBL. For what they want to charge and to sell such trash products is insane.

Love JBL sound

I purchased the Charge 4. It was a better price than the Charge 3 at the time. I have 2 Charge 3 units.
It sounds good as JBL always does. I think that the bass on charge 3 actually sounds better.
Maybe because it's a more compact unit. I never can get them to go in stereo mode or link mode.
Also the app is useless. My best use is just turn it on, it auto connects to my I pad and play music right away.
I am a audio professional and always depend on JBL.
