Defective leaky design.

I bought this because a close friend that I camp with bought a tent by another brand that has the instant up feature and the tent performed great in every way including being water proof.
The instant up feature on my tent worked just as well as my friends, however my Coleman leaked horribly. My friend and I camped together last October and it rained all but 1 day of our 4 day trip. My tent did fine during the first rainy night but then it leaked the rest of the time.

The only difference between my tent and my friends is hers has a rain fly whereas mine does not. The description says it's built in but whatever aspect of the design that refers to is definitely defective.
I won't be using it in the future unless there is no chance of rain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

4 person cabin camping tent

The 4 person cabin camping tent is one of the best tents it keeps rain out and it’s so easy to setup! There’s so much room in it you could fit like 6 people in it even tho it’s a 4 person. Definitely recommend for camping!

Will not disappoint, great tent.

Great tent! It's super easy to put up. Less than 1/2 hr to get it all set up, and that includes taking it out of the car. We have used it in several weather conditions, including rain and windy conditions. I live in Michigan, and the weather always changes. It's the perfect size for a couple with room to have luggage, air mattress, and space to move around. If you're looking for a tent, I highly recommend the Coleman brand. It will not disappoint

Wonderful time. Loved how this kept out the light so we could sleep in in the morning. Easy to put up. Love being able to stand up in it. Folds down easily. Kept us dry!

Purchased this tent for the ease of a quick setup - set it up on my driveway and one corner plastic foot on one pole which attaches to the tent was busted. How durable is this tent really? I am certainly disappointed. Looked to see if there is a way to replace the piece, but can’t find any information.

Perfect & Easy to set up alone by 68 year old lady

Although I haven't used this 4 person cabin tent with instant setup yet, I know I am going to love camping in it! It was very easy for me to set up and take down by myself (in my living room ;). I am an active 68 year old lady who loves tent camping. I've camped in a Coleman 4 person Dome instant setup tent for over five years, and have loved it. During an eight week camping trip last summer, I decided I wanted to go back to camping in a taller tent. So I bought this cabin tent. It is perfect! I am 5'2" and I am able to stand up in the middle without stooping.
I also like the fact that this tent has mesh windows which can be completely covered by the zippered window covering. Many tents with a rainfly now leave the window mesh uncovered for ventilation. However, that is not practical! I often camp in northern states, higher altitudes, and late fall and early spring.
I also bought the rainfly, as I've ended up camping on the fringe of two hurricanes with the dome tent, and have also had to tarp the dome tent for bad rainstorms. The rainfly fits perfectly, and the quality looks great, so I am sure I will not have problems in rainstorms.
I've used Coleman products for years, and I am sure this tent will make my future camping trips even more enjoyable and comfortable!
I would recommend this to a friend!
