Good price, but flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good price, easy to put up and take down, but not easy to get back in the bag. The biggest problem is that is came with ZERO waterproofing from the factory. On the 4th nite of use on a trip this past summer, it rained fairly hard. The tent leaked terribly! For the amount of water that weeped through the fabric, there could not have been even a hint of waterproofing on the fabric. I had the proper rainfly on the tent, too, but that didn't stop anything, either. Rain seeped in slower where the rainfly covered, but still came through. By morning, there was at least a couple of gallons of water on the tent floor! Fortunately, I was able to pile water sensitive items on top of things that were not susceptible to moisture, so nothing valuable was damaged.
This is not my first tent and I know that waterproofing has to be renewed, but there to be zero on it from the factory is ridiculous. There is no indication in the instructions that waterproofing is needed before first use, either. Were it not for this one issue, I could give it 5 stars as a quality product for an excellent price, but this is too serious an issue to ignore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this tent a lot when I go camping and fishing. It’s a breeze to setup and take down. It’s also really good if you’re camping any time of the year. The windows let in plenty of cool air in the summer. I’ve found that in the colder weather it holds heat in better than other tents I’ve had especially if you have a portable heater in it.

Don’t use if there is a hint of rain!!!!

Horrible tent in the rain!!!! The walls were completely soaked the first time it rained. I had only used it six total times, have only owned it a little over a year, and stored it indoors in between campouts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Durable Tent

I am a single elder female and have had this tent for 5 years, have set it up 26 times at the end of very tiring days. It has been set up in 100 degree weather, taken down in freezing weather, gone through rain and wind, and has never failed in any way .The tough floor material does not need a tarp under it, really does not need a fly, the zippers are great and never give me grief. Easy and quick to set up and take down and always fits into the bag.
I would recommend this to a friend!
