worst tent ever.

i bought the 6-person version of this tent. the tent arrived with missing metal pieces to hold the poles in place. horrible. had to use sticks to hold up tent. materials are low quality, floor is too big for the overall size of the tent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

40 mph wind and a deluge later!

We Endured a 10 in per hour thunderstorm, with winds gusts up 40 mph. This tent held up spectacularly! Properly secured it did not move at all, we stayed dry and comfortable after 4 hrs of storms. Great job on this tent Colman it sets up literally in a minute! Thank you for not making our 10 th anniversary a soggy one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great tent, easy setup, no storage bag???

My son received this tent as a gift as he asked for a tent for Christmas for backyard sleepovers with friends. It's a great tent and he can easily set it up quickly. My issue is that it didn't come with a storage bag. So it's just this big pile of tent sitting around in a mess. Don't all tents come with a storage bag? I would give this tent 5 stars if it came with a bag to store the tent.

Terrible!! Leaks so bad it’s unusable!

The first time I used this tent it rained, and this tent leaked so bad I had to move into the cab of my truck. Very disappointed in the quality of this tent, especially when it carries such a reputable name.

Zipper busted on 2nd use

We purchased this tent at the end of last season and used it for one 2 day trip last year. We recently set it up for the 2nd time and the bottom zipper busted. Over the 2 day trip, the entire zipper came apart. We ended up having to throw it away. Compete waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BEST tent ever!

There are a lot of tents out there; and if you are just starting out - get an INSTANT tent! If you get this darker colored model; don't forget to add the rainfly...however, there is a light blue model that doesn't require a rainfly. My son prefers the darker colored one; because he says he can sleep longer in the morning. Either model is perfect; in my opinion!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't count on staying dry

The good: I love how fast this goes up. It's the reason I bought it. It's stable very roomy.
The bad: it doesn't keep you dry. I still haven't seen where it comes in from, but in two different rain storms I woke up with a wet sleeping bag.

4-Person Instant Cabin's maiden voyage review

I just took this tent out for its first road trip. It was super duper easy to set up and take down. I was all alone and could easily set up in less than 5 minutes, and take-down was a similar time, although sometimes it was hard to roll it small enough to fit into its bag. But that's normal for tents so that's not really a negative. It lightly rained while I was camping and I didnt get any wetness inside. It didnt even need stakes to stay up properly, which was nice since day 1 I forgot stakes and couldnt get any until day 2. Took her out for 5 days, was totally fine at the end of it. Ill definitely get coleman tents in the future whenever this one wears down.
