Love Letter to a Glorious Ice Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s clear I’ve been living in toxic relationships… with every other air conditioner I’ve ever owned. Then along came the Frigidaire 10k BTU window AC, and baby, I felt something. Specifically, my toes freezing off — in July.
This machine doesn’t just cool my bedroom. It turns it into a meat locker. I’m pretty sure penguins are nesting in my closet now. I awoke the first morning and whispered, “Thank you, Arctic Lord.”
I used to toss and turn in a sweaty swamp of regret. Now I bundle up and sleep like an over-chilled burrito. I’ve even considered installing a fireplace for ambience.
Bottom line? This Frigidaire is the Elsa of window units — it lets it go… ALL the way to Antarctica. And I love it. 10/10 would get frostbite again.
